Epic 39 (base 40): The Future is the Past

“Explosion, now!”

The Gokaiger (and the Red Kamen Rider Mage Kenta) fell back toward the hospital steps as the White Wizard's spell blasted a group of Ghouls apart.

“There's no end to them!” Gokai Rider Yellow protests as the Gokai Galleon, Violet Hope (and the rest of the New Gokaiger recolors: Orange Defiance, Pink Jewel, and Bronze Spear), Sugokai Galleon, Free Joker, Magi Dragon, and Furimaru, did battle with the Zangyack fleet of warships aided by the might of the Ghost Ship and Imposter Gokai Oh above them.

On the ground The Five Gokai Riders (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink) were holding the line beside The White Wizard while being aided by Gokai Rose as Magi Shine, Gokai Gold (Mia) as Magi Mother, and Copy Luka as Wolzard Fire.

“T-T-Tiger, Please.”

Summoning the mantle of the Gao Warrior key of the White Tiger Gokai Rider Green used her impressive speed to cut through the Ghouls on the ground to give the team some breathing room.

“I can't believe Jelloushitto and Los Dark would turn turn on us,” Rider Pink said solemnly as she fired her GokaiWizardSwordGun.

“When I get my hand on them I'll keel haul um!” Rider Red grouled as he switched rings, “Kiva, Please.” And charged in with Garou Saber and Basura Magnus in hand.

“Marvelous!” Green protested, “they are not to blame, they are victims of the Phantom who took them over.”

“Sassword, Please,” Rider Blue was next summoning up the power the scorpion rider for a new sword, “And that's who Marvelous is going to Keelhaul. He hods no ill will toward the real Los Dark and Jelloushitto, Right Marvelous?”

Just then GouJyuDrill appeared in the sky.

“Niiice going Gai!” Copy Luka/Wozard Fire cheered.

“Wasn't me!”

“Well you getter get up there then and find out what's going on!” Marvelous orders.

“I will as soon as We have an opening!”

“Fire!”

The blast of a massive cannon cleared away the last of the Ghouls, giving everyone a long deserved break. In turn they all powered down to collapse on the step of the hospital.

“You did it!” Violet cheers as he runs out of the hospital, “Great work, the people, and the True Heir remain safe.”

“Couldn't have done it without you,” Doc pants, “Nice attack.”

“Attack? I've been busy making sure the force field generation doesn't over load.”

“If not you,” Marvelous wonders apprehensively, “then who?”

A trio of figures dropped down in front of the Gokaigers, Marvelous' eyes going wide with delight, “You!”

“You miss us?” Akiba Yellow laughs as she tilts her hp and makes some bunny ears behind her head with her hands.

“Miracle Sentai Akibaranger!” Doc purrs, “What are you guys doing here!”

“Doc-san?” Yellow and Blue ran over to her as they poked and prodded at Gokai Green young new form, even as she tried to bat their hands off.

“What happened to you,” Akiba Blue asked first.

“Who cares,” Akiba Yellow giggles, “I think shes cute!”

Doc flusters as Akiba Red approaches Marvelous offering a hand up which he gladly takes, “When things went south we hurried back her as quickly as we could to help,” then rubs the back of his helmet sheepishly, “Though we did get side tracked by some of our Super Sentai Sempai along the way.”

“On the plus side we got some new blessings are were able to power up our bazooka,” Akiba Blue explains, “one of them even built Ishta Robo for us!”

“And that's not all!” Akiba Yellow says with a smile as she motions to the sky as a Second Gokai Galleon appears overhead beside GouJyuDrill just before the Gokaigers Mobirates ring.

“Hello?” Marvelous says uneasily.

“Hello Marvelous,” came back a VERY familiar voice.

“Energy Marvelous?”

The voice on the other end just chuckled.

“Energy Doc-San found a way for us to escape Los Dark's death dimension and keep us from dispersing,” Energy Joe explained, “And it looks like just in time.”

“Looks like the air battle is winding down,” Energy Doc adds, “Come aboard and we can catch everyone up to speed.

Soon aboard the Gokai Galleon 2 the main cabin was quite crowded with Lauren, Kenta, Fueki, Catgirl Doc, Human Violet, Catgirl Luka, Copy Luka, Teen Marvelous, Teen Gai, Teen Joe, Catgirl Ahim, Catgirl Mia, Human Insarn, Navi, the Akiba Rangers, and a large group of what looked like the original Gokaiger only as Sugormin Hybrids. The Energy Clone Gokaigers included Hybrid Marvelous, Hybrid Joe, Hybrid Dragongirl Luka, Hybrid Joe, Hybrid Doc, Hybrid Jelloushitto, Hybrid Violet, and Hybrid Ahim. Needless to say the later groups forms made the originals tense with unease, those where NOT pleasant times to be reminded of. In fact the only person who was not the member of the allied forces not present was Basco, for obvious reasons.

“Our apologies,” Energy Ahim bowed regally, “We understand your trepidation but Doc-san had limited resources in the other world to construct our containment suit.”

“We could Gokai Change if it would put you at ease,” Energy Doc adds.

“N-No, that's alright,” Teen/True Marvelous waves dismissively.

“Besides we should get everyone up to date,” Lauren injects, “before there's another attack.”

“And there's still the issue of GouJyuDrill's appearance,” Insarn says cautiously as she looks out the port windows.

“Oh! Oh! I can answer that one!” Akiba red says eagerly raising his hand, “Time Yellow sent it back in the future to give you guys a mission to protect a shrine in the past that had originally destroyed one of the Greater Powers.”

“Nani!?” Came a deafening roar from everyone present as they turned to the AkibaRangers.

“What?” AkibaYellow looks confused.

“How could you posibly know that?” Gai says confused.

“Well,” Akiba Red rubs the back of his helmet nervously, “I watched Gokaiger, every Super Sentai fan did.”

“Also,” Akiba Blue offers calmly, “We were created as an expression of Nicole's gift, so obviously we would carry some of her traits.”

“Like knowledge of the other timeline!” Akiba Yellow giggles.

“Ah mou, Time Yellow-san why did you have to do this now?” Copy and Teen Luka moans, “We can't afford to travel to the past now!”

“Tch,” Energy Marvelous smirks, “You guys go, leave protecting Nicole-san's dream to us. With the Akiba Rangers and everyone else at our backs we can't loose!”

“Are you sure?” Teen Joe wonders, “Only magic can defeat magic. Do you think you can hold down the fort without our Gokai Rider powers?”

“They won't be fighting alone, right Kenta?” Fueki says firmly as he voice softens to look to Catgirl Doc, “You are my final hope. And as long as you need me here in your world to protect your hopes and dream I will not leave. It is because of you that my daughter lives, I owe you more then I could repay in a hundred life times.”

Catgirl Doc flusters, “D-don't mention it.”

“Well what are we waiting for it's not every day we can time slip,” Teen Marvelous says turning for the exit.

“Well then, everyone!” Gokai Rose calls to to the Gokaigers (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink) as he takes the main seat of the bridge and summons out the Time Yellow key from his buckle, “here we go!”

With the setting of the key and a simple turn the main screen came to life as a time gate took form ahead of them and the screen red, 'Warp for 20 10Y 10M 02D Time Gate OPEN”

“Alright!” Gokai Rose gave thumbs up as he took a firm grip of the twin control wheels, “Cross over time!” and gave them a hard spin, “GyoJyuDrill!”

And into the Time Gate they flew.

“Good Luck everyone!” Navi Ranger waved from the prow of the ship as GyoJyuDrill vanished through the gate.

“We did it!” Gokai Rose exclaimed as they shot out of the gate. “This is the year 2010!”

“Is this really the past?” Gokai Green said skeptically.

“It is the past,” Rose protested, “Look. Sky Tree is still under construction.”

“Hey, Gai,” Yellow purrs as she slaps her arms playfully on Rose's shoulder, “Do you remember any winning lottery numbers?”

“No...”

“You should not cheat, Luka-san,” Pink admonishes.

Yellow hisses as she walks away, “I was just thinking it would help up prepare for the fight in the future.”

“We should avoid altering time too much,” Green protests, “there is no telling what effects could cascade from even the smallest of things.”

“Tch.”

Landing GyoJyuDrill the Gokaigers disembarked and made their way un morphed toward their destination.

“Negaure Shrine should be up ahead.”

“Such a lonely place,” Gai notes as they walk up the steps, “Why did this place blow up?”

“Is that the best you got! I've fought tougher enemies in the afterlife!”

However at the sounds of battle and more so a familiar voice the Gokaiger picked up their paces to see a group of Nanashi closing in on a young boy as a familiar young woman fended them off.

“Nicole-san!”

Gai broke into a run to guard the boy as Marvelous got their attention with Gokai Gunfire, “Are you alright?”

“Moogers out here?” Doc says confused, “What are they doing here.”

The Nanashi gather up to face the Gokaiger as Marvelous gets serious, “I see. So we have to protect the shrine from them?”

“Gai-san! Nicole-san! Please protect the boy.”

“Got it!”
“What do you guys think I was doing until you showed up!”

“Let's Go!” Marvelous leads off as they take out their Mobirates and Gokaiger Keys.

“Gokai Change!”

“Goooookaiger!”

“Super Sentai?” the boy says shocked as the two team face off.

“Let's make it showy.”

But before anything can begin the Nanashi heard the voices of their kinsmen and leap away.

“Don't run to damn octopuses!” Red calls out as they charge after.

“Don't forget to be a man Doc-san!” Nicole calls out causing Doc to pause and look back.

“A-Alright,” then grits her teeth in focus and takes her male form before running after the others.

“So,” Gai stands and looks around, “This is your chance to go home,” before reaching down to grab the boys arm, “I'll escort you.”

“No.” the boys says pulling his arm away. “I'm not going back.”

Nicole sighs, “You're lucky you have a home you can go back too.”

“Eh?” Gai says looking curiously first to Nicole and then the boy, “Did you...run away?”

“I'm not a runaway. I'm emancipated.”

“Emancipated?” Gai says confused.

“Where did they go?” Gokai Red says looking around the top of a cliff as the Nanashi loose them.

“Look at that!” Yellow suddenly points to an opposing cliff where 12 familiar Sentai had gathered together as their power and conviction released an explosion behind their united front.

“Huh?” Red says confused as he witness the fireworks, “Goseiger and...”

“...Samurai Rangers!”
“...Shinkengers!”

“Oh they're jumping,” Pink notes as the two forces engaged a combined force of Nanashi and Bibi Bugs.

“We have the Ranger Keys.” Yellow notes as she takes out the Shinken Yellow and Gosei Yellow keys. “So that means...”

“...it's the real Goseiger-san and Shinkenger-san,” Pink notes.

“So this really is the past,” Green mushes as he pushes past Red to the front, “Probably one of Nicole-san's VS movies.”

“Huh?” Red turns again to see Shitari (or Orctoroo if you prefer) gathering the Nanashi to him.

“This way! Hurry!” with his forces gathered Shitari turns about to address his forces, “This is our best chance for defeating the Shinkengers and Goseigers. I'm counting on you!”

“So that squid guy is the one who summoned those small fish from before,” Gokai Red note as they move closer to the edge to get a cleaner view.

“Hey,” Yellow purrs, “If we defeat them, we'll pay back the debt we owe the Goseigers and Shinkengers.”

“Debt?” Gokai Red asks curiously.

“For giving us their Grand Powers,” Pink expands.

“Right.”

“But...” Green muses, “Is it really okay to do that here in the past?”

“His fate is to be defeated anyway,” Blue notes casually, “It doesn't matter who defeats him.”

“It should be no problem as long as we are not seen,” Pink adds.

“it is decided then!” before Red steps forward.

“I'm the star!” Shitari exclaims just as his group is fired upon drawing his attention to the cliff, “W-Who are you?!”

“We're the rumored pirates!” Gokai Red exclaims as Shitari's eyes adjust to the sun at their back making it seem as if their suite were just pure black with white emblems until his vision adjusted.

“Who?”

“Gokai Red!”
“Gokai Blue!”
“Gokai Yellow!”
“Gokai Green!”
“Gokai Pink!”

“Kaizoku Sentai....GOKAIGER!”

“What?!”

“Since this is the movie,” Red turns to his allies, “let's be more showy then usual!”

“Cheeky!” Shitari exclaims as the large mouthed Nanasi fire on the Gokaigers with the massive fire ball breaths.

Gokai Red cuts the attacks through and the five leap into the frey.

“Oh,” Gai muses, “so your mother is a freelance journalist.”

“We move every time she starts a new job.” the boy says solemnly, “she says she does it to get all the information. I can't stand it. I don't have a father...so I have to go with her.”

“You know it's not easy being a single parent,” Nicole says wistfully looking to the sky, “Your always worried about your kid but you can't just stay home all day either.”

“Oh?” The boy asks curiously, “how so?”

Nicole sighs as she puts a hand on her stomach reflectively, “Weather it's because your out there fighting evil or just so you can put food on the table. Your doing everything in your power to make life better for your kid while knowing deep down you've failed them by not being there when they need you the most.”

Gai nods, “I had to move around a lot as a kid as well, you don't want to change schools,” before looking to the boy, “so that's why you ran away...er became emancipated.”

“Even if we get along, I have to part with my friends pretty quickly. And this time we're going to America. I'll never make any friends like this!”

“But is it really your mother's fault?” Gai wonders.

“Of course it is. I can't do anything.”

“When I was a kid, I moved all around because of my parents.”

“And I've been bouncing between worlds ever since I arrived here,” Nicole expands on Gai thoughts.

“But I made a lot of friends,” Gai continues.

“And so did I.”

“Eh?”

“I'm borrowing that,” Gokai Blue says casually as he disarms a Nanashi and then uses both his blades to cut a swath of destruction through the other Nanashi.

Similarrly Pink is using twin Gokai Guns to blast any Nanashi who come near her while Yellow slashes with one saber and grinds her boot hard into one Nanashi's stomach as it falls before her.

Green keeps moving, flipping, rolling and shooting just as a pair of Nanashi surprise him from behind. Throwing his hands over his head protectively, “Behind you!”

The Nanashi fall for the obvious ply giving green an opening to fire on them point blank, “Psyche!”

“Move!” Red grunts as he cuts down the last of the Nanashi with sword and gun and the five gather up together opposite Shitari and his two remaining fire breathers.

“T-That can't be!” Shitari exclaims as his Nanashi warriors all expire.

“Here's a souvenir to take with you into hell,” Gokai Red declares as they turn to face Shitari and his remaining forces. “Well show you something good!” before taking on the Go-On Red key.

“Gokai Change!”

“Gooooo-onger!”
“Geeeekiranger!”
“Bouuuuukenger!”
“Maaaaagi Ranger!”
“DeeeekaRanger!”

“How is that possible?!” Shitari shouts in disbelief at 5 different Red Rangers.

“Well they were pirated,” GekiRed/Luka taunts.

“Dual Crusher!” Joe as Boken Red calls out as he summons out the drill like weapon.
“Hybrid Magnum!” Don as Deka Red calls next as he assembles his two pistols into one.
“Geki Waza! Hou Hou Dan!” Luka as Geki Red purrs as she summons up the tiger spirit.
“Red Fire!” Ahim explains as she gathers her courage, her magic.

“Shoot!” Deka Red orders the group as they release their attacks to destroy the last two remaining Nanashi to leave Shitari alone.

“It can't be!”

“Let's make the end showy as well!” Go-On Red/Marvelous exclaims as he draws out the Go-On Red's sword and charges forward, “Sabre Straight!”

Sending Shitari into the air as he summons up one last weapon to finish the job.

“Kankan Mantan Gun! Gooooo-On!”

“How can I fall here?!” Shitari demands as the attack hits him dead on as the Gokaigers turn away and power down to their normal Ranger forms, “No way!”

“How?” the boy wonders, “if you move, you can't make friends.”

“It's the other way around,” Gia and Nicole smile together.

“I use to think that,” Nicole begins, “But every time I moved on I made new friends, many many friends.”

“...in many cities,” Gai nods as he pushes to his feet and paces about, “Each time you arrive in a new city, do your best to talk to people. Even if people say your annoying or persistent...there are a lot of different kinds of kids.”

Nicole stands next to pace next to Gai resting an arm on his shoulder, “Life is full of lessons. Even when it seems like people are teasing you, trying to make you feel down if you pay attention you can see that often they are the ones who feel alone or down. Sometimes the worst kinds of people become the best kinds of friends if only there was someone willing to look past their brash exterior nature and see the little boy crying inside.”

“It's true that there were things I couldn't do,” Gai continues to reminisce as he slowly turns back to face the boy, “But I looked for things I could do.”

Nicole nods as the two returns to the boy and kneel, a hand on each shoulder.

“When I tried...” they said together, “...I was able to change my future.”

Smiling Gai looks over to Nicole happily, “That's what I think, at least.”

She nods back, “That's why I love Super Sentai. When your world is nothing but poverty and struggling to survive, wondering if tomorrow would be the last day you could afford food, or rent I could always turn to Super Sentai, and to my friends to pull me out of that hole, and take on the world again.”

“Change my future...?”

Gai and Nicole nod together.

“I've finally found it,” Metal Alice laughs as she approaches the steps of the shrine, her table reading signs of high energy in the area. “That energy signal is coming from above.”

“Shot no Zan KT-0,” She calls to the mechanical wheel creature beside her, “Destroy the whole shrine!”

“Roger!” the machine responded as he marched up the stairs.

Metal Alice laughing as she walked off.

As the boy and Gai relaxed under the roof of the shrine Nicole leaned on one of the posts watching the time on something that Gai assumed was some sort of upgraded Gokai Touch as it looked nothing like the old one.

As the foot steps of KT-0 echoed and Gai began to look around Nicole smiled as she handed off the Gokai Silver Key to Gai just as KT-0 came into view, “Time I returned this to you Gai, sorry for the delay.”

Gai only has enough time to give her a curious look before KT-0 was in view.

“Something's come again,” the boy worries as he clutches his bag tighter for protection and Gai gets to his feet ready to fight.

“Negakure Shrine! Destroy!”

“What?!” Gai says in surprise.

“Shot!”

But Gai doesn't have time to analyze motivations before KT-0 launches a barrage of fireballs at the two Gokaigers.

“Gokai Change!”

“Goooookaiger!”

As Gokai Silver Deflected the blasts into the sky to explode above them Nicole as a new White Gokaiger surged toward KT-0 dragging him away to fight.

“Stay here!” Silver instructed the boy as he ran after Nicole.

“I'll finish this quickly,” Nicole growled as she tapped her buckle and slotted a key into the brace on her right glove, “You have no idea how long I've waited to be reunited with my comrade!”

“Final Wave!”

Suddenly her hand transformed into, or was encased in, a giant cannon.

“Gooookai Cannon Shooooot!”

Silver arrived just as as KT-0 turned his side to her, the attack made him stumble but he remained standing.

“No way,” Silver echoed Spoilers own disbelief.

“Shot!” KT-0 counter attacked again.

“Gokai Change!”

“Shiiiiinkenger!”
“Kyuuuuuryuger!”

The twin gold transformations saving them from the attack and Gai/Shinken Gold charged forward and unsheathed his blade, “Sakanamaru!”

“Zyudenchi Ichi, Ni, San loaded!” Kyuryu Gold called out as she clamped shut her sword, “Give me an opening Gai!”

“Got it,” Shinken Gold called back as he went in for the attack only for KT-0 to block each slash and get a firm grim on Shinken Gold sword arm long enough to level his Gatling arm at Shinken Gold's head point blank.

Quickly ducking away as KT-0 fired ShinkenGold came back up as King Ranger (Oh Rangers/Gold Ranger from Zeo) and vault over KT-0 head and knock him away with a kick as he jumped off the machine.

“Zaaaaaander THUNDER!”

As KT-0 was getting back to his feet the wave of electricity from Kyuryu Gold struck sending him flying.

“Gai! Nicole!” Gokai Green called as the others ran over to join them.

“What are you doing?” Yellow wondered.

“That guy...” Silver opened.

“...he's the real threat to the shrine,” Spoiler finishes, reverting to Gokai form.

“There's more enemies?” KT-0 says confused.

“Then who were the squid-san and small fish-san from before?” Pink worries.

“Ah...that's true...” Green mushes as she reverts to female form.

“Squid?” Silver says confused as he looks around to the others, “Squid?”

“Whatever,” Gokai Red said annoyed as he stepped forward, resting an arm on Silver's shoulder.

“Squid?” Silver continued to ask confused.

“We'll just defeat the real culprit too.”

“I will eliminate those in my way!” KT-0 exclaims defiantly.

“Everyone!” Silver calls out, “Let's go using TimeRanger!”

“Yeah!” Red agrees as he takes out the TimeRed key to lead the others beside Silver.

“Gokai Change!”

“Time Ranger!”

As Marvelous, Joe, Luka, Doc, and Ahim march forward KT-0 fires his main guns again. But it's futile as Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink uses their powers to accelerate their senses dodging the attacks as if they were in slow motion. Those attacks would have hit Gai as Time Fire if Nicole as a black Time Ranger didn't grab his collar and help dodge him out of the way of the attacks.

“Double Vector!” Red called out as he leap into the air with his twin swords to attack KT-0 first before being joined by the others each getting in their own attack.

“I'm not done yet,” KT-0 protested as he got back to his feet and turned to the Rangers launching a massive missile from his back, “KT Missiles!”

“I got this one,” Nicole says patting Red's shoulder before snapping her fingers and then suddenly the missile just explodes.

“Nani?!”

Nicole smirks as she leans on Gai, “Too fast for you? How about an instant replay?”

Taking out a Time Ranger Badge it projects a hologram of just when the missile fires and then freezes as Nicole snaps her fingers.

“With Time Shadow's powers I can stop time for brief moments,” She explains as the Black Time Ranger draws her side arm and blasts the Missile causing it to heat up. As time resumes it explodes from the heat build up.

“Niiiice!” Yellow purrs as she puts out her arms along with Time Fire, and Blue as Red, Pink, and Green leap into the air with their Vector Swords.

“Vector End!”

“Beat Six!”
“Beat Three!”
“Beat Nine!”

Knocking KT-0 on his back and the three land and they all revert to Gokai Form.

“Let's Finish him!” Red calls out as he taps his buckle and he, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink summon, “Gokai Galleon Buster!”

While Silver goes Gold Mode and Spoiler summons out her arm cannon again.

“I'm not done yet!” KT-0 protests as he gets to his feet.

“Ranger Key! Set!”
“Reeeeeed Charge!”

“Final Wave!”

Looking down the barrel of 3 final attacks KT-0 begins to shake.

“Goooookai Legend Dreeeeeam!”
“Gooookai Cannon Shooooot!”

“Gokai Galleon Buster!”
“Rising Striiiiike!”

The phantoms of the 6th rangers struck first followed closely by Gokai Silver but that was far from the end of it as the Cannon blast and the Rising Strike was next and KT-0 fell finally.

“Alright!” Silver cheered as he powered down to non Gold Mode.

“Now the shrine is pro-” Nicole couldn't finish her sentence however as Green, Yellow and Pink all powered down and pounced her, nuzzling and purring as they wrapped their bodies around her. She Demorphed next along side Blue and Red laughing, tears in her eyes.

“I missed you girls too but isn't this a bit much,” she laughed.

“Who are they?” Metal Alice wondered as she overlooked the battle from a high cliff and took out her tablet again, “They do not exist in the data I have collected thus far. I need more data.”

“Reactivated.” KT-0's voice echoed as Nicole struggled to point to the giant machine.

“Ah mou,” Luka growls, “I wasn't done with Nicole-san!”

“Us neither!” Ahim and Doc say together.

“I will defeat you and then crush the shrine!”

“No you wont,” Red glowers as he takes out his Gokai Red key and Mobirate again, the girls pulling off Nicole-reluctantly.

“Everyone!” Silver says running over, “Leave this to me!” And takes out his Gokai Cellular, “Come on, GouJyuDrill!”

Before rushing off to board his Gokai Vehicle as the girls once more pounce Nicole.

“Joe-san h-help!” Nicole squeaks as KT-0 and GouJyuDrill engage each other.

“I'm staying out of this.”

“Nya!” Doc purrs rubbing against her cheek, “We were beginning to think we would never see you again.”

“Nya!” Luka bats at the Rainbow Cloth around her neck, “we were beginning to think you like those Samurai guys more then us.”

“If you'll stop molesting me like a pack of hungry animals I'll explain everything!” she protested.

“Nyo!” Ahim protested as she looked about, “There has to be a hot spring or lake around here, we're not letting you go until you take a relaxing bath with us!”

Nicole eyes watered as she reached out for the boys as the girls dragged her off, “Joe-san! Marvelous-san! Help meeeeeee!”

Marvelous chuckles as he looks to Joe wandering back toward the shrine, “Better make sure nothing else tries to attack the shrine.”

“Right.”

“GouJyu Triple Drill Dream!”

The giant battle reached it's climax as Gokai Silver unleashed his finisher on KT-0 sending him to the final scrap heap with one last explosion as Metal Alice watched, “Time up.”

“I lack the data to defeat them,” Meta Alice surmised as she watched the battle end, “Before I have KT fight the Goseigers...I will need to up it's defenses.” and with a tap of her tablet she vanished.

The boy protested in pain as his mother forcefully bowed him low beside her, “I really owe you for taking care of my son.”

“No, no. I'm just glad your son is okay.” Gai counters as the other Gokaigers hung back behind him, Nicole looking nervously to the girls who had her surrounded. While all four of them were dressed they were still damp from their impromptu bath.

“That you very much,” the woman smile as they stand up and she lets go of her son who steps up to Gai.

“I'll try my best. Like you did Oniichan.”

“Huh?”

“Next time we meet, I'll introduce you to my American friends.”

“Sure.” Gai smiles as he bends over to pat the boys head, “I look forward to it.”

Luka, Doc, and Ahim for the moment torn their attention away from Nicole to smile at Gai and his new friend just before Doc ran forward, reaching into her jacket and drawing out a camera, “Oh right Gai! Let's take a commemorative photo as proof that the shrine was protected.”

“Oh right!” Gai nods as Ahim comes over and draws his attention.

“If it's okay,” Ahim begins as she addressed the mother and son, “won't you join us?”

“Sure!” The mother nods.

“Oh right,” Gai cuts back in, “I still haven't heard your name. I'm...” Gai steps to the side to make his classic pose, “...Ikari Gai!” before returning to a more casual stance, “What's yours?”

“Mirai. Moriyama Mirai.” he exclaims before looking over to Nicole.

She flusters a moment, “Blecker Nicole.”
“Gibken Joe.”
“Captain Marvelous.”
“Millfy Luka.”
“Ahim de Famille.”
“Everyone just calls me Doc.”

With a smile everyone moves back to the shrine as Gai set up the camera, “Here we go!” before running to get into the shot before the shutter clicks.

It was night time before Gai and the others made it back to the shrine in the present day, the rest of the Gokaigers, again save Basco, were there too. All of them (Insarn's New Gokaigers, including Both Violets, though obviously missing Gokai Violet AKA Los Dark, the energy Gokaiger, Lauren, Mia, Copy Luka, the Sugokaigers, and the Akibarangers), and the White Wizard, and Kenta.

“Thank goodness,” Ahim purrs, “even now in the heart of this Phantom War that shrine is safe.”

“Alright,” Marvelous calls, “and with Nicole back we can't loose.”

“Speaking of,” Luka inched closer purring, “You promised to explain to us why you were in the past before us.”

Nicole chuckles nervously as the group spread out around her, “Because I waited for you. I've been waiting years for that day.”

“NANI!?” the collective group said together in absolute shock.

Nicole chuckled nervously again, “I guess I should start at the beginning...”

Meanwhile in the 31st century GouJyuDrill returns to doc at the Time Police HQ. As the docking finishes Domon, the former Time Yellow steps out onto the bridge looking about, “Good work.”

As his gaze drifts lower to find a note addressed to him resting under his badge.

'To Domon-san. We properly protected the shrine. As proof, I included a photo. P.S. I'd like your signature next time, Domon-san. Gokai-Silver! Ikari Gai!'

“My signature eh? This guy is pretty brash.' Damon mushes as he takes out the photo smiling as he see's Nicole in the shot just as another figure enters behind him.

“One step closer to home Nicolas-san.”

Tensing Domon turns only to smile at the red clad figure who caught him off guard, “AkaRed, it's only you.”

“Hummm,” Takingthe photo from Domon's hands AkaRed reads the text written on the sides, “We met them at the shrine...”

“Damn. I told them to not meddle with people from the past too,” Domon rolls back his head annoyed as he take back the photo and finishes reading as he focuses on Mirai and his mother, “...this mother and son.”

But his expressing shifts to one of focus as he takes a closer look at the mother, his voice cracking, “Honami-chan.” his ton softening more as he looks to the boy, “then...this boy is...”

Now holding back tears he is forced to squint, “What do you know? He's as handsome as me.” Domon retreating to the chair as he break down into tears of joy and sadness.

AkaRed nods, crossing his arms over his chest as he takes his leave silently.

Nicole chuckled nervously again, “I guess I should start at the beginning...”

Taking a seat Nicole turns to Lauren, “You see it all started when Lauren returns to Ranger World. At the time I still wasn't aware she over heard my conversation with Violet. And my worries that had I left at that time anything bad that happened would be my fault from messing with the Samurai Ranger Time line by crash landing us Gokaigers into it. So when Lauren left me behind I thought she was angry for take up so much of her time and didn't want to wait on me to return from my errand.”

“Nicole....I...”

She waved her hand dismissively, “I've had years to learn the truth, don't feel upset.”

Lauren smiles, “Thanks Nicole, I...I never wanted to hurt your feelings.”

“I know...anyway. Back to my story.”

“Of course.”

“Now as luck would have it when you came back a second time I was under the curse of a Nighlok, and since things still weren't quite stable Jayden passed along a story to you about not wanting to possibly pass a Nighlok Plague into this world. Though I suspect now you knew the real reason and just went along with it. Anyway you returned home to perfect the Sealing Symbol and wait for the right moment to send me home but it never came. After Xandred defeat things seemed to calm down but the final battle had be tough on everyone and so we decided to put it off for a few months. In those few months I wound up dragged into Gosei's employ when the vanguard off your world's counter part to the Zangyack war fleets Warstar Vanguard arrived. By now I had surmised the war was over back home and I just couldn’t walk away while Earth was in danger...”

“Of course,” Both Marvelous says with a smirk.

“That's our Spoiler,” all 3 Luka's laughed.

“Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, months to years, before I knew it I had started a life, a family in Power Ranger world. And while I missed all you guys greatly, and still longed to get back to my real home there was no telling where or when you guys had gotten to in all that time. And even if I had found you all what then? The Gokaigers would have long since retired, and Mia and My son,” she looks to Insarn and the Violets, “your True Heir, would be a young boy by now, use to the love of his mother Mia, what role would I be able to play in his life while still looking for the way home to my own world? What kind of mother would that have made me. So I just kept on live my new life in the Ranger Universe until time caught up with the past.”

“Huh?”

She chuckles flustered, “You see in the Power Ranger Chronology DekaRanger was set in the year 2025 with parts of it from 2040. Eventually I saw DekaRanger, Space Patrol Delta, take shape and I knew that at one point a time hole would open to the early twenty first century. If I could get through that time hole I knew I would be far enough back, to 2004, that I could still help out you guys. I just needed to make the leap back to Sentai world, and as it so happened your father Lauren was even better at the Teleport Symbol then either you or Jayden. Once back in Sentai world I just needed to wait long enough for the Goseigers and Shinkengers to have their team up movie and I knew you guys would be there.”

The group had fallen silent, this was their Nicole but it also wasn't, she had been stuck in ranger world for a decade a least, and then at least almost as long back in the past of Sentai World all on the off chance they would still have pursued Domon's request. If any one of potentially thosands of things had gone off script they might never have seen Nicole ever again. No one spoke, no one knew what to speak.

Except Lauren, “Then I'll just have to drag you kicking and screaming back here! I will not have my friend sit around lost in time for eight years!”

“And undo all the good I did up to that point, or all the good I did in Sentai World's past?”

“I...yes...no.”

Nicole moved to Lauren wrapping her in her arms, “There is not a single thing I regret.”

“B-But your like in your fifties now, because of me!”

“Doesn't feel like it. The Rainbow Cloth and a few unusual events along the way have kept my body in it's prime,” Nicoel smiles brushing away Lauren's tears, “Besides I can't imagine not having those years with my son,” her own tears starting to fall, “I had a good long life, and I have many more ahead of me. And now I'm stronger, wiser, and let's face it cuter,” she laughed. “I wouldn't have it any other way.”

Lauren smiled as she brushed some of Nicole's own tears away, “You're one of a kind you know that Nicole?”

She smiles as everyone laughs, “I may have heard that once of twice before in the last 20 years.”

Lauren could not help but laugh along too.
