Episode 1: Super Samurai
Centuries ago in Japan, Nighlok monsters invaded Japan, but samurai warriors defeated them with power symbols passed down from parent to child. Today the evil Nighlok have risen once again and plan to flood the Earth. Luckily a new generation of heroes stand in their way they are the Power Rangers Samurai.

Leaping into action Kevin and Mia raise their weapons as they prepare for a unmorphed battle.

“You Moogers are going down! Hydro Bow!”

Kevin's energy shots hammering the practice dummy as Mia closes in with her Sky Fan to deliver a punishing follow up.

“Sky Fan!”

As the dummy fall The two stand triumphant over it in victory.

Vixen growls, as black energy circles about her, “This time for sure!”

The black energy soon enveloping her form as Jared smiles from his throne and Camille smirks from his side.

Vixen's form fades in and out revealing a familiar human form under before the black energy escapes her and she collapses to one knee panting, “I almost had it.”

“You are doing well,” Camille smiles as she makes her way over, “give it time and you will master taking human form before you know it.”

“That's easy for you to say, the Rangers...”

“The Rangers can wait,” Jared cuts in, “your animal spirit is strong but you must know patience, it is a lesson I was a fool to ignore and one you can not afford to less your darker half take you over.”

Vixen sighs as Jared puts a comforting hand on her shoulder, “I know...”

Meanwhile in the city Mike and Emily were riding down the street, Mike on his board Emily on her inline skates. Pulling ahead of Emily Mike take a long jump with a bit too much eagerness, launching him on the guard rials of some stairs where he slides down hanging upside down.

Trying to save face he smiles, “Just like I planned it.”

Only for Emily to give an urgent shout, “Mike over here!”

In the training yard of Shiba House Lauren and Jayden charged their Spin Swords with a spin of their Hidden Discs before blade met blade, a smile playing across Lauren's lips, “Your getting better little brother!”

“Thanks Lauren!” Jayden smiles back just as his Summarizer buzzes from the near bench and Lauren lowers her sword as Jayden quickly runs to answer, taking a moment to listen to the other end, “I'll be right there!”

And quickly he runs off.

Mia, Mike, Kevin, and Emily knelt before the large pull of red water that bubbled by the side of the road, worry in Mia's voice, “I can't believe this is happening!”

As their gaze lingers on the dark pool Kevin's eyes turn to the distance where Jayden approaches and me quickly rises to meet him with worry written across his face, “Jayden!”

“How bad is it?”

“You're going to have to take a look and judge for yourself.”

Mike motions his head over to the pool as Jayden joins the others and kneels by the red puddle with concern, “I was afraid this would happen.”

Concern and curiosity is painted over Mike's face as Jayden reaches for a twig and touches it tot he puddle where it instantly catches on fire.

“Sansu River water,” Jayden answers with a grave look.

“This is not good,” Kevin shakes his head in disbelief.

“We've seen the Netherworld breakthrough to ours before,” Emily counters with a glimmer of hope.

“I know but this much water is really dangerous,” Jayden explains, the smoking twig still in his hands.

“And with pools like these the Nighlok can rehydrate without ever returning to the Sansu River,” Kevin adds gravely.

“Guys!” Mia calls out with alarm, “Over here!”

Which prompts the others to quickly run to her spot where another red pool was bubbling and churning.

“Oh no!” Kevin adds with concern as he muses thoughtfully, “The last time this happened Mentor said it was a sign, that the Nighlok were growing stronger.”

“It get's worse,” Mia sighs as she points to a trail of red, “footprints.”

Meanwhile in the forest the mutated Arachnetor roars as wild life flee from the unnatural howls.”

“My Medicine!” Xandred howls from the floor of the junk “Now!”


Just as he was about to drink down his bowl a familiar claw presented a second option to him from off to the side, “Try this, master.”

“What?” Xandred growled as his gaze tracked to the new voice and the new bowl, “Vixen? Camille? What are you two doing here?”

“A present from our lord Daishi!” Camille purrs  as she pulls away Xandred original bowl.

“Oh ah oh,” Octoroo mused as the two Rinshi ladies made their presence known aboard the junk with the strange offering. “What are you two doing here.”

“As part of our new alliance Lord Daishi has made a new medicine for lord Xandred as an offering of goodwill.”

Xandred growls as he roughly takes the new bowl and drinks down the potion.

“That really hit the spot,” Xandred yawns as he starts to nod off.

Camille and Vixen share a smile as Xandred drifts off to sleep, “It's amazing what a little Rinshi magic can do for a Nighlok.”

“Pity the big guy nodded off,” Camille smirks as she saunters over to Ocotoroo, “So what's happening with our efforts to flood the Earth?”

“Oh ah oh have I got good news, Arachnetor is still alive and kicking in the human world.”

“Arachnetor?!” Vixen's growls in shock, “He was that Nighlok who betrayed the Master and was mutated along side my former human self as punishment. How is that GOOD news?”

“He's a wild animal now,” Octoroo explains, “he's on a rampage terrorizing the human world!”

“Hummmm...” Camille muses as she looks to Vixen, “He could cause a lot of fear and misery and surge the Sansu that is already seeping into their world.”

“Yes but would Master Xandred what that traitor to gain more power?” Vixin muses.

“Hummmm....”
“Oh ah oh...”

Curiously Dayu watches the girls as they talk back and forth.

“Well track down those puddles and close them up too,” Jayden explains to Kevin as they walk along a  concrete bridge to meet up with Mike and Mia at the top.


“These footprints are definitely Nighlok,” Mike notes as he stands.

“But no gap sensor went off,” Mia adds with concern.

“I don't think it came through a gap recently, this Nighlok has been here a while.”

A concerned look crosses Mike's faces as he looks about just as Kevin exclaims, “And using those pools of Sansu Water to keep from drying out!”

“Uncle Bulk this is pretty complicated,” Spike muses as he scans through the manual of their new handicam.

“Oh pish posh, you think I’d spend Ji allowance on something I couldn't figure out how to use.” Bulk exclaims excitedly as he pulls the camera from the box, “Wit this we can document the Samurai Rangers and our heroic climb to Samurai status!”

“Whoo! Yeah! Come on!”  Antonio cheers as he fights with his catch over the side of the pier, while he jams to some music from his golden headphones.

A hand gently taps his shoulder.

“Sorry man, can't talk! I got a big one on the line!”

Silently the hand slides the Black Box into his view. Stopping Cold Antonio rises to face Ji with alarm, “Mentor? Something happened?”

“Jayden called, we have a big problem. Programming the Black Box can wait no longer.”

“I'll get to work on it right away,” Antonio says confidently as he takes it in hand and they return to Shiba House.

“Symbol Power – Rock!”

The Two Yellow Rangers stand over the latest pool catching their breath as they summon up stones to bury the latest pool of Sansu River water.

“There has to be a better way then this Serena,” the younger Yellow ranger pants leaning on her older sister. “We're just covering them up, not actually getting rid of them.”

“I know Em, but until that plan presents itself we do the best we can.”

“As long as I have you beside me we can't fail!”

At Shiba House Antonio sets the Black Box down on a pedestal as he steps back and opens his own Summarizer tapping the buttons to send a stream of energy into the Box, making it slowly rise before once again falling back to the pedestal.

“Come on,” Antonio sighs as a concerned Lauren and Dream! Nicole watch from the sidelines, “You can do this.”

Meanwhile  Arachnetor continues his rampage through the forest, the city coming into view as several sheep flee from the monster. Some distance back Mike kneels in the wood as he rubs some dirt through his fingers, Jayden coming up behind him.

“Have you lose the trail?”

After a moment Mike turns his gaze to the side and quickly moves off, “This way!”

“Good job Mike,” Jayden smiles as he follows.

“Yeah these foot steps disappeared a while ago,” Kevin adds with surprise.

“The forest ins my turf,” Mike says confidently in the lead, the rest of the Rangers (Jayden, Kevin, Mia, and Emily hot behind him as they emerge back into the city, “I can still track him.”

Arachnetor roars and the fleeing populace quickly bring the Rangers to their guard.

“I think we found him!”

“Emily you should stay behind, focus on finding and sealing those puddles,” Jayden quickly orders.

“You're going to need all the help you can get little brother,” A second Jayden, says suddenly appearing from a side path beside Serena.

“L-Lauren?!” the first asks confused just as he (she?) changes into a clone of Emily.

“Leave the pools to Serena and I!” She pulls Serena of in another direction, “With Nicole's Rainbow Cloth I can take over for Emily!”

“Pausing a moment Jayden finally nods as he draws his Summarizer, “It's morphin' time!”

And the Rangers quickly move to intercept Arachnetor.

“Not this creep again,” The Yellow Ranger growls as they arrive on the scene, “he's the one that got away!”

“That fine!” Red exclaims as he leads the charge in, “We just make sure he doesn't this time!”

As the Rangers engage Bulk hides behind some bushes, his handicam pointed on the action. However no matter who attacks him or how strong Arachnetor easily beats back each of the rangers before leaping into the sky to escape once more.

“Wow that monster's really strong.”

“Don't you remember,” Green adds as the Ggirls help him to his feet, “He mutated.”

“He's out of control,” Pink adds with alarm, “But what's worse is he's not drying out!”

“He must be using a big pool of river water,” Blue muses.

“We need to find him before he hurts anyone else,” Yellow adds.

“Jayden?” Blue turns to the Red who looks off into the distance distracted, “Jayden? What do we do?”

“What sorry?”

“You alright man, it's not like to yo just space out,” Green adds.

“S-Sorry just distracted, Kevin's probably right, and Lauren and Serena are tryignto close off the pools. What if they find this guys main pool after he retreats back.”

Yellow gasps as she takes out her Summarizer, “Serena! Serena! Get back to base! That monster is coming your way!”

“Mike!” Red says quickly patting his shoulder, “You think you can find the main pool before  Arachnetor finds the girls?”

“You can count on me Jayden!” As Mike quickly leads the others off, dragging Pink beside him. “Especially with Mia's help!”

“W-What?”

“I can track him in the woods but you should be able to sends the wind as he flies away!”

“I-I'll try!”

“You can do it Mia!”

Bulk laughs as he pulls the handicam away with Spike just as energetic, “You were right! So did you get it all on tape?”

“Of course I did! Now we just need a little editing and the Rangers will be super stars and the Nighlok wont have any fear to feed upon!”

“This is such a great plan Uncle Bulk!” Spike snorts as he hods up a small case, “Umm what does this thing do Uncle Bulk?”

“Oh that is a memory card,” Bulk says casually as he plucks it from Spike's hands, “you put that in the camera to let you record thin...”

His face contorting in anger, confusing and annoyance as Spike laughs.

“There are many spots where the Sansu River is seeping into our world,” Ji notes on their magical map with many red spots as Lauren and Serena return to Shiba House. “Looks like Xandred may be getting ready to flood the earth sooner then we figured.”

“We'll have to work as a team,” Lauren notes, “Even harder.”

“You're not thinking,” Serena injects.

Lauren nods, “It may be time for me to step out of the shadows and into the light beside my little brother. Between you, me, Bulk, and Spike we have almost enough to field a second team of Rangers.”

“You still need a Pink Ranger,” Ji muses.

“And I think I know just the person for the job,” Lauren nods as she starts to pace, “The tricky part will be convincing HIM to fly the colors.”

Serena nods, “Guy really aren't too keen on wearing pink these days.”

“We'll he's just going to have to get over it!”

Serena nods.

“The Nighlok have always got the drop on us, but this time it's going to be our turn to set an ambush!”

“But where?” Dream! Nicole wanders over with concern.

“Arachnetor is going to need to rehydrate, we cut him off at the source,” Lauren notes as he circles a particular area on the map and takes out her Samuraizer.

Meanwhile the Black Box rises once more as Antonio feeds it energy, it hovers there for a moment before settling back down to an annoyed Antonio.

“We're already at the source,” Jayden talks into his Summarizer as he looks over a large river of red, “Mia and Mike helped us find it, you two stay behind.”

“I have already made up my little little brother,” Lauren answers over the line.

“Why don't you tell her...” A new figure emerges onto the scene, a familiar blond woman, a man in black, and the 3rd figure shrouded in a heavy cloak, each waring some high tech sun glasses in Black, Green, and Orange, “...the cavalry has arrived.”

“Who?”

“Ready?” The man in black looks to his two companions who both nod and look back.
“Ready!”

“Jungle Beast! Spirit UNLEASHED!”

“With the Heart of a Lion! Jungle Fury Black Ranger!”
“With the Skill of a Chameleon, Jungle Fury Green Ranger!”
“With the Cunning of a Fox, Jungle Fury Orange Ranger!”

“Power Rangers Jungle Fury!”

“Who are you guys?” Mike asks confused.

“Friends, and fellow Rangers, here to lend a hand against a common foe,” The Black ranger counters flatly, “Now Ranger Up! That Nighlok should be here any time now.”

Sharing confused looks among themselves they all look to Jayden who slowly smiles, nods and takes out his Summarizer, “Ready?”
“Ready!”

“It's morphin' time! Go! Go! Samurai!”

'Heh heh heh they think their going to ambush him but their in for a surprise.' With a quick stroke of their Summarizers the Five are transformed, as they 8 together all take up positions behind pillars and wait. Meanwhile on the other side of the lot Octoroo skulks in the shadows as he sticks a strange charm against a pillar with a dark laugh before vanishing back into a crevice, 'Walk past these Rangers and say goodbye to your morphing powers.'

“Where's that Nighlok?” Red muses worriedly as he paces.

“Could we be wrong,” Blue adds.

“The map, Mike and Mia all identified this site but that was just this general area, we saw this pool and just assumed.”

“Of course!” Blue exclaims as realization dawns, “this place is so big their could be another pool!”

With a nod Red turns to Black, “Split up! When you find the Nighlok contact the others!”

“On it,” Black concurs, “Cammy your with me!”

“Of course Jared,” The green rangers purrs as Black and green run off.”

Without words Blue and Red dash off together, Green and Yellow make another pair, leaving Pink to follow Orange.

“So what do I call you?” Pink turns to Orange as they run.

The Orange Ranger picks up her pace, “Oh...sorry...you can call me...Fran.”

Red and Blue pull to a quick stop as they spy Arachnetor wallowing in a pool of Sansu just ahead.

“Call the others,” Red advises as he doubles back to make his way down toward Arachnetor as Blue takes out his Summarizer and informs the other teams.

Leading the charge in the Red Ranger tries to get the drop on Arachnetor, “Fire Smasher!”

“Moogers!” Ocotoroo calls out as Arachnetor turns to confront Jayden as he leaps into the fray just as a group of Moogers appear to give backup behind Arachnetor with Ocotoroo just off to the side.

But suddenly Red's morph breaks just as his Fire Smasher comes into contact with Arachnetor leaving him human and vulnerable and completely unable to support the heavy weight of the Fire Smasher without the aid of his Ranger Form.

“This just got a whole lot tougher!” Blue exclaims as he comes charging in, “Don't worry I got your back!”

Only for his morph to fail as well.

“We all do!” Pink exclaims arriving with the others, as their morphs all fail as well, the Jungle Fury Rangers included.

“What's wrong?” Mia looks around confused as all 8 Rangers look about perplexed.

“This hasn’t happened before,” Kevin notes as he looks around, “Something got to be blocking us from morphing.”

“There!” Jared points to one of Octoroo markers on a pillar.

“We must have passed an evil barrier!” Fran notes.

“Kevin and I will handle the barriers,” Jayden offers as he reverts his Fire Smasher to spin sword and the rangers stare down the opposing forces. “Remember there's a lot of Sansu River water here's and it's dangerous stuff.”

“Leave the small fries to us,” Jared grins darkly as he cracks his knuckles and begins to summon dark energy about him, “Samurai Rangers deal with the Nighlok, ladies I think it's time.”

“Call to the Beast inside!” The three Jungle Fury shout in unison as they summon up their energy.
“Release the Lion!”
“Set free the Chameleon!”
“Run wild the Fox!”

And a trio of Spirit beasts launched forth toward the Moogers.

“DENIED!”

And were summarily blown anyway by the arrival of a new Nighlok to the mix to the gasp and horror of the Samurai Rangers.

“Nicole!”

“Call me Vixin!” The Fox Rinshin smiled darkly as she blasted the rangers back, “In Octoroo's field even your Pai Zhaq powers are weakened and our Rinshi and Nighlok powers made stronger. Let the roads run red as our new alliance destroys two teams of Power Rangers once and for all!”

The Moogers charge in as Arachnetor gives an angry roars and knocks over Vixen before charging in himself, widely knock aside Moogers as he charges toward Mike with abandon.

Back at Shiba House Antonio once more takes a stab at the final programming of the black box, his eyes shut tight in worry as once more it begins to rise, “This time it's gotta work, I'm not about to fail my friends.”

As he peeks open a single eye he notices that the box remains floating and glowing and triumphantly he take it in hand as Lauren, Bulk, Spike, and Dream! Nicole rush in cheering just as the exhausted Antonio drops unceremoniously to the ground only for Lauren to catch him before he hits the hard wood floor.

“Don't worry Antonio, we got you.”

“We'll make the delivery!” Bulk exclaims as he quickly takes the black box from Antonio's hand, “Come on Spike, lets go!”

“On it Uncle Bulk!”

Back at the battle Mike is doing his best to fend off Arachnetor and several Moogers while the rest have their hands full with the rest of the Moogers as Vixen closes the distance to Arachnetor as he sends Mike flying almost to land in a Sansu puddle of not for the quick catch by Cammy.

“Thanks Cammy I owe you one!”

“Get us out of this alive and I'll call us even!”

Meanwhile the others weren't having much easier a time, for even when Kevin kicks a Mooger back and he drops on his ass into a puddle it is quickly back on it's feet, wounds healed and charging back into the fray.

Emily is quickly to cartwheel out of a large group of Moogers and get a better position on things but as she gets back to here feet she quickly drops her Spin Sword and hisses in pain, looking down at her burned hands, “Head up! Even the clean looking ground is soaked in Sansu!”

With Moogers advancing Emily is forced to knock them back with a series of kicks as she flees to higher ground and quickly tears the hem of her blouse to make bandages for her hands.


“Thanks Em!” Mia call between swings of her Spin Sword to keep the Moogers back even as she dances around the puddles, one looming right behind her as she dodges forcing her to balance precariously on her toes.

A quick knee to her stomach drops her to her knees, the Sansu soaked ground burning through her leggings and into her knees as a pair of Moogers force to lean back, crouched on her toes, knees burnings and her arms trembling as her single Spin Sword fights to hold back two Moogers blades, her hair dipping into the large puddle behind her, and behind to burn and she fight just to keep from falling in.

“What is your deal?” Vixen growls as she confronts Arachnetor, “We're on the same side!”

Once more the feral mutant howls and knocks her aside as he advances toward Jared.

Vixen growls as she picks herself up from the ground and glares at Ocotoroo, “Sorry Octoroo but this guy is out of control, I'm taking him down!”

“Oh ah oh! Master Xandred won't like that!”

Vixen charges as she knocks Arachnetor down clawing at his back before he throws her off her the two monsters now trading fierce blows at full force, “Master Xandred thinks he's a traitor and turned him into this as punishment in the first place. If he wants to punish me when he wakes up fine! But this guy is a loose cannon! The Rangers can wait!”

“Kevin now!” Jayden howls out as he nods and they bring their Spin Swords down across Octoroo's markers slicing them in twine, their Ranger Forms returning instantly.

“Back off!” The reinvigorated Pink Ranger growls as she pushes to her feet, forcing the Moogers back as well, “My power are back!”

“Time to take down these Moogers while the big guns are fighting among themselves!” Red orders as the 8 Rangers gather up and charge back into the fray!”

“You got it!”

“Oh ah oh! Look out you two the Rangers are back!”

“What?!” Vixen growls as she knocks Arachnetor back just as the Red Ranger charges them.

With a roar Arachnetor's tendrils grab and throw both Vixen and the Red Ranger back before turning his wrath on the other rangers, knocking them all around just like before.

“Man this guy is a super mutant!” Green groans before being knock back himself.

As the Rangers are getting their second wind Arachnetor unleashing his big attack blasting them all back with his energy rings.

“This battle isn't over,” Red urges as he runs over to the downed Rangers, “We can't give up.”

“Easy for you to say my controls locked up!” the Orange Ranger stumbles over her words.

“What?” The Green ranger says confused.

“But before anything else could be said of the issue Bulk and Spike charged onto the field waving the Black Box over head, “Guy! He did it! The Black Box is ready!”

As the other Rangers get to their feet Bulk and hands off the black box to the Red Ranger, “Gold is good, but right now Black is better!”

“Yeah go for ut Jayden!” Spike snorts.

“Alright!” The Red Ranger takes the black box, opening it and inserting a new Disc as he holds it high over head. “Super Samurai Mode!”

With a quick morph and a new white coat the Super Samurai Red Ranger stands ready for battle.

“Your in for it now Nighlok!” Spike taunts, “Antonio combined all the powers of the Rangers into one.”

“And now they can morph into Super Samurai Mode!” Bulk finishes.

“S-Super Samurai?” Vixen laughs, “What that silly little coat, what can it do!”

“Let me show you!” The Red Ranger announces as he moves the black bock to his Spin Sword, “Nighlok your about to meet the Super Samurai!”

The Moogers charge in first but Super Red just walks through them, tearing into them with his Spin Sword, “Man this Super Mode is powerful.” Before destroying them all in a single circle slash and no effort.

“Oh ah oh now he's even stronger too!”

“Your next Nighlok!”

“I've seen enough,” Vixen growls before retreating through a crevice alongside Octoroo.

Super Red now advances alone toward Arachnetor, slicking quickly and hard into the monsters tough carapace and easily leaping and dodging any counter attacks with superior speed. Arachnetor tries his ring blast only for Super Red to easily deflect them as he reaches for his belt.

“Nice try,” and slides on his lion disc to his Super Spin Sword, “Lion Disc!”

His blade abase with fire he charges Arachnetor to deliver a “Super Blazing Strike!” and Arachnetor is finally defeated.

“Wow that Super Samurai Mode is something else,” Blue notes as the others catch up to Super Red.

“It's not over yet!” Super Red notes as Arachnetor returns in a mega size along with some super sized Spitfangs and Moogers.

“Time to check out Super Mega Mode.”

And time for us to see to Fran's injuries,” Black adds as he and Jungle Green help the stiff and limping Orange move away as the other Samurai Rangers Summon their zords for battle, (which we really don't need to recap do we folks?)

“Symbol Power – Rock!” Emily calls as she summons a final flurry of boulders to bury the last Sansu Puddle, her hands still wrapped in gauze as Mike and Mia help her from out of the pit she was in.

“Great Job Em, that's the last of them!”
“Yeah really amazing!”

“Thanks,” She sighs exhausted, “I don't think I have an ounce of Symbol power left.”

“For now,” Kevin adds.

“Awe man don't be a downer,” Mike counters, “We won, be happy.”

“Yeah but I don't like the fact the Nighlok found a way to mutate.” Emily adds. “Or that that evil copy of Nicole, Vixen is in the mix.”

“The Threat is growing, but so are we,” Jayden summarizes, “thanks to Antonio and our new friends the Jungle Fury Rangers.”

Mike laughs, “I hear that! We finally got an edge on Xandred!”

“We just have to keep getting better and stronger,” Jayden notes as he looks down to the Black Box in his hands, “We need to become Super Samurai.”

His smile slowly spreading through the others as they put their hands together, “Rangers Together! Samurai Forever!”
