Clockwork looked about for something she might be able to help with as well. She
pulled two springs from her bag and attempted to fashion some kind of spring
shoes to help her reach up high to help.

[Again, I'm sorry about the disappearance everyone.]
Rarity leafs the group to the place where the Summer Sun Celebration is to take
place.
"Lets see..." Rarity says while examining the interior. "Do you think that you
could hang these banners from the ceiling, Apple Flutter? I just need your help
with the ceiling and tapestries along the upper walls. Everything else I can
either so on my own or will require the assistance of an unicorn." She then
notices that Clockwork is still muttering to herself and seems to be creating
'something'. "What exactly are you doing Clockwork?"
[Leads not leafs dangit! How could I have missed that. Of all things that is
The. Worst. Possible. Thing!]
[yeah the shoes are fine your invention just sort of falls aparts in your hooves]
"Ah'd be happy to, Rarity." Apple Flutter takes the banners and flies up to hang them.
Clockwork looked down at the disaster that was her newest invention, "haha...
nothing." and she swiftly threw the pieces to the side. Putting the failed
attempt to the back of her mind for later she admired and observed
Appleflutter's flying ability. "Quite impressive Appleflutter I must say.
Sometime I'll have to get a closer look at those wings of yours, it could really
help my gliding machine."
She turned back to Rarity, "If your looking for a unicorn I know two I'm
supposed to meet and check on their progress for the celebration. If either of
you two could show me the way to Dragonshy's cottage I'm sure she'd be more than
willing to help." Clockwork thought that it would be Rainbow Flash who would be
most useful, but she wasn't in the mood for another falling disaster like last
time.
[I'm assuming that Rarity has a better relation with Dragonshy than Appleflutter
does.]
"Dragonshy? She lives near the edge of the Everfree forest. I often take my dear
Opalescence to her for her grooming. I will gladly lead the way. After all, any
help will be appreciated."
[Rarity then proceeds to lead the group to Dragonshy's cottage.]
[I'm sure Appleflutter, (i keep thinking apple butter withthat name) knows her well enough to take Winonna for care, that said Rairty is a good choice for leader]
[I tried to think of something original for the past hour or so, but failed. Oh, well.]
An extraordinary amount of birdsong can be heard coming from the direction of Dragonshy's house. For a moment it resolves into a coherent melody resembling the Equestrian anthem before dying off. As you round the last bend you see Dragonshy covered in birds in front of a small tree with more birds in it. She seems to be rearranging them and doesn't notice your approach.
[I wrote it like that because I'm not sure who's coming.]
Clockwork followed behind Rarity to Dragonshy's. As they approached she could
hear the sound of the birds singing the national anthem. It sounded quite good.
She smiled, glad she could check off the music for the celebration. As they got
a bit closer she called out,
"Hello. Dragonshy."
Dragonshy turns to face the comers, a blue jay still on her hoof, "Hello, Clockwork. Hello, Rarity." She smiles.
[Rise and shine Clockwork, let's not strech this out for another week when we're so close to Celebration]
Clockwork trotted towards Dragonshy, "I must say, the music is sounding
wonderful. I'm sure it will be perfect by the celebration."
She looked back towards the two other ponies. "I was just at Rarity's and she
was hoping we could have the assistance of a unicorn in the decor. That is, if
your not to busy here."
[The two other ponies? Appleflutter came too? By the way, how does earth pony Rarity get *anything* done? How does she thread a needle?]
"Did somepony get hurt?"
[Does the GM have a preference whether Dragonshy comes along? I'm inclined to send Spike with a ladder instead.]
[No their no reason Dragonshy HAS to come, but it would be the kind thing to do since Rarity requested the help of a unicorn]
[ She was shown using a sewing machine in suited for success with her hooves.]
[Presumably, she still needed telekinesis to set it up - to put in the spool, lay the thread through the mechanism, and thread the needle.]
[ I'm tempted to chime in with "a wizard did it" or something like that but then I remembered that it's actual /lack/ of that going on that's the problem XD ]
[I'm tempted to ask why we need real world physics and explanations to allow a
/talking/ pony be able to sew. Hay, ponies are able to hold things with their
hooves! I'll just say that she has a lot if practice. While we are discussing
mostly pointless things, how are we even speaking English when equines lack the
necessary vocal cords to do so? And yes it is English otherwise how could we
understand the characters on the show this is based on.]
[[ And I'm going to point out how incredibly easy it is to run thread through a machine. Why, I could almost run thread through my sewing machine in my sleep at this point. I'm sure Rarity can use her teeth to run the thread through, and most sewing machines by this point probably thread themselves. I know mine does, and Rarity's machine looks an awful lot like a standard sewing machine. ]]

"Did somepony get hurt?"
"No, nothing like that. I should probably let Rarity explain what she needs." And with that Clockwork looked over to Rarity.
Rarity turns to Dragonshy to explain. "Well Dragonshy, some of the decorations
that I have planned need to be magically enhanced to fit my vision. Mostly I
need a unicorn to create some colors and add some shimmers and sparkles."
"I'm sorry - I can't do that kind of magic. But Rainbow Flash can - you could ask her."
Meanwhile, high in the sky, Surprise has an idea.
She starts gathering clouds into a singular, ginormously huge cloud and brings
it to ground near Carousel Boutique. Then, she starts making the cloud wider and
thinner and wider and thinner until it's just a small yet firm film of water
vapor.
Experimentally, she tests the hold of the cloud by pushing her weight onto the
layer of cloud. To her joy, it holds well, and has the right amount of bounce
she needed.
She congratulates herself on making such an spectacularly spectacular spectacle
such as a cloud trampoline that was as wide as the Boutique it was anchored next
to by jumping up and down on it, making interesting moves with her wings while
in midair, so absorbed in her jumping that she starts to lose interest in
everything else around her.
"Great, I thought so." Clockwork knew Rainbow would be the better choice for the
job. Hopefully she won't try to go overboard this time. "Then we'll leave you be
Dragonshy, the music is sounding good. Is Rainbow's near by Rarity?"
As if on cue, the rainbow-maned unicorn appears in a technicolor flash... a few feet off the ground and galloping in mid-air as she goes flying right into Dragonshy's tree, scaring off the birds and slumping to the ground. Mane and tail a bit frazzled and only slightly singed, she picks herself up, a little dizzy from the crash but she shakes it off and puts on a grin as she notices everypony, "Oh hey. Heh. I was just practicing for a new trick but I guess it needs some more work," she says with a forced laugh.
Dragonshy would fly off with the birds if she could. With that option barred, she ducks for cover behind Clockwork.
[Good job keeping up the pacing! I wouldn't have thought of that.]
Rarity turns to face Rainbow Flash "Ah, just the pony I wanted to see. I could
really use your help with altering some of the fabrics I have back at my
Boutique so that they could be used to finish the decorations for the Summer Sun
Celebration."
Rainbow glances over to Rarity, cringing a bit, "Altering fabric? Ugh.." she rolls her eyes with a sigh, "I guess as long as I don't have to actually wear any of it. Won't take long will it? I wanted to get in some more practice before it gets dark."
Clockwork gave herself a second for her heart to slow. She looked over to Rarity in surprise. She acted as this was normal around town.
After calming a bit she decided she would follow them just so she could check on Rainbow's progress. She pushed her nose through her book bag looking for her celebration check list. [I forgot, what was Rainbow covering for the celebration?]
["Entertainment" apparently]
"Let's see... music, check. Decor, check." She paused for a second,
"Entertainment. So how is the performance coming along Rainbow? Are you planning
on doing an illusion or a levitation, maybe..." she began to ramble about the
different possibilities of a wonderful show.
Meanwhile, Dragonshy picks herself up and listens in to the conversation. The birds will come back in a few minutes.
[Just bookkeeping.]
"Planning? Yeah I got a few ideas about what to do; little lightshow, maybe put up a few mirrors and lenses." Rainbow Flash shrugs a bit as she trots along with the others back toward Rarity's, "I'll have it figured out by tonight. Don't worry; whatever it is, I'll have it thrown together in a flash," she says with a cheeky grin.
"Well that's reassuring, but you have to have something to actually show me.
Let's just stay away from teleporting, why don't we."
Rainbow thinks for a moment then grins. [rolling for a magic light show (create illusion): 1d20 (16) +3 (mind) +2 (skill: light show) = 21 I'll go ahead and assume that's good enough for this] Her horn shimmers brightly with a technicolor halo then several rays of white light radiate out from her horn in a starburst pattern. The rays spiral around and focus down at her hooves then fan out into a rainbow that streaks off ahead of her in a path all the way up to Rarity's front door.
"How's 'rolling out the rainbow carpet' for starters?"
Clockwork stood, mouth open in surprise. She had yet to actually see Rainbow
perform anything quite so well. Though before she could think of anything to say
she could hear a noise above their heads.
As she looked up she could see a massively flat cloud above the boutique. She
could hear a pony giggling up on it. "What is that?"
Surprise keeps bouncing on the cloud, unaware that it's starting to break under
pressure from her constant bouncing. Eventually, the cloud breaks and Surprise,
who expected the soft feel of the cloud to support her, started to feel her tail
twitching. This put every other aspect out of her mind except looking for
something to fall on her, screaming "Twitchy Tail! Twitchy Tail!"
Occupied with her Surprise Sense, she didn't stop herself from falling on top of
another startled pony beneath her. She immediately recovered her self and
inspected the pony she landed on.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry, I had a Twitchy Tail and I didn't stop myself in time
because my tail was twitchy and I was looking for something to fall on me but I
didn't think I would be the one falling on somepony and OH MY GOODNESS I HAVEN'T
SEEN YOU IN PONYVILLE BEFORE AND SINCE YOU'RE NEW YOU GOTTA HAVE A WELCOME PARTY
SO I'M GONNA GO INVITE EVERYPONY TO YOUR PARTY OTHERWISE IT WOULDN'T BE AS FUN
BUT EVERYPONY LOVES MY SURPRISE SPREES I'M GOING TO GO SET UP THE PARTY AT
SUGARCUBE CORNER OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!!"
Throughout the entire encounter, Surprise started flying circles around the
confused pony at unnatural speeds and hadn't taken so much as a single breath
before flying off to Celestia-knows-where.
[ 1d20 (16) +3 (mind) = 19 for a simple 5-foot teleport out of the way of falling pegasus. This one's all yours, Clockwork!

[1d20 (5) +1 body=6. Definitely not enough for a dodge.]
Clockwork's head was ringing after being crushed by a falling pony. As she
started to come back to she heard the rambling of a high pitch voice far above
her head. It was coming from an energetic pegasus. Before she could get a word
in edgewise the pony flew off with Clockwork left dumbfounded.
"Who, or what was that?"
Rainbow trots over to help Clockwork up, "That's Surprise," she says with a dry chuckle, "You get used to-" she starts snickering, "Nope; can't keep a straight face. Nopony ever gets used to Surprise. Surprise is... Surprise."
"Don't worry, we'll be seeing her again real soon," she adds with a bit of a sigh and an eyeroll.
[Guess that it's my turn.] Rarity beckons for the others to enter her boutique
to allow Clockwork Sparkle to recover and see if Rainbow Flash could properly
alter the fabrics.
Clockwork was able to pull herself together and as she watched the two ponies
trot into the boutique she made a startling realization. She looked down at her
celebration checklist, "Wait, Surprise?! She's the pony in charge of the food
for the celebration[I think]." She quickly followed the two into the shop, "Do
either of you know where she could have gone to? I still need to check her off
as well as make sure Appleflutter is going ahead as planned."
She started trotting back and forth, "Oooohh, I'm going to be late. This is not
good."
"Surprise?" Rainbow laughs, "Oh, she's got a knack for showing up just about anywhere at any time," she looks around a bit paranoid-like as she says that, "but since you're new in Ponyville and she just met you, I'd wager you could find her at Sugarcube Corner. I mean, she lives there afterall but- well," the technicolor pony smirks, "Nevermind; I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise."
"If you wanna get over there in a hurry I can help with that..." her horn begins to shimmer with a rainbow cascade.
[Hmm, I wonder how much of the forth wall Surprise is allowed to break. Perhaps
an off comment about the players, or something? Anyways, I'm not sure if I would
have to roll to set up a party, now would I? I know I could roll to see if
Surprise is successful at...well...surprising the guest of honor at the party.
I don't remember where I was going with this...BACK TO THE STORY!]
"Oh, well." Clockwork inched back bit by bit away to avoid being caught in
Rainbow's potential teleportation. "I think I'll go check on Appleflutter
first... and I'm sure Rarity could still use your help." Before Clockwork could
even give the rainbow pony to respond she rushed out the door and trotted off
towards the farm to find Appleflutter again.
[Meanwhile, I thought Flash was new in town too. Also, it's morning with plenty of time till ~3 AM next morning when the ceremony is to take place, right?]
[ Flash's hometown is Ponyville -- just double-checked and GM/Luna established that back on 9/30 ]
[ And just 'cuz there's plenty of time doesn't mean clockwork can't get antsy/OCD-y about it. I know I get OCD-ish about getting certain things done early and mild anxiety even sets in when it looks like I might even be just 5 minutes late for something. ]
[I'm not second guessing Clockwork's behavior. I'm just making sure I didn't miss an email saying that time has passed.]
[ Oh, well fair enough then. Though given what we've gone though I'd probably put the time around noon~ish. But then I have a wonky sense as far as the passage of time goes so... *shrug* ]
Rainbow's horn stops shimmering as Clockwork leaves. The technicolor pony turns to Rarity, "Uh.. so... you needed help with ugh..." she sighs, "fabric?"
"Yes I do Rainbow Flash. I need some of this fabric changed to a different color
and this fabric needs to have sparkles and shimmers added." [I almost can't wait
for the reveal of the decor, which reminds me that I should write that down
somewhere.]
Flash follows Rarity around the shop, picking up fabric with her telekinesis as Rarity shows it to her and casting minor spells to change the colors or make things sparkle as the dressmaker pony directs her.
[ create illusion should cover color changes and shiny-making. It's not like there's any kind of stress or hurry to this and it should be fairly simple to do so I won't bother making any checks unless the GM wants me to ]
"How much of this dumb fabric do you need my help with? I'm not gonna be here all afternoon am I?"
[Where the hay is appleflutter? Is she still with us or what?] "That should be
enough to finish what I have planned. You could go now if you wish. I just need
to head over to the location and apply this fabric." [If appleflutter or
surprise would happen to be there that would be helpful, or at least not raise
questions as to how the fabric got up there.]
[[ Sorry! I still exist, I swear! I've been trying to juggle a speech I'm supposed to write and... y'know... give... Um, heh. Along with a huge 15-page project that I have to write, endless creativity for the novel I'm writing, and a bunch of other things. Certain things get dropped, and sadly this had to be one of them for a while. I'll try to jump back in smoothly when I have time, but right now it's 3 AM, and I need to be asleep two hours ago. ]]
[I knew that you were busy. I meant what group of ponies are you currently with?
Clockwork is going off on her own until she runs into surprise but Rarity and
Rainbow are together right now but that could change soon. Last I knew you were
still following along with Rarity, Rainbow are Clockwork.]
[Yay, our first desync!]
[Was it good for you? *smokes cigar*]
[Until we figure out where everyone else is lets try and keep things moving
along. Would the DM be willing to be one of the apple family so Clockwork could
just check off Appleflutter's duties and Apple can join in whenever she can?]
As Clockwork aporaches the Apple Farm a massive Pegasi touches down, "Yer that new fillie from Canterlot Clockwork Orange? Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres, Ya'll can call me Big Macitosh"
"Actually, it's Clockwork SPARKLE." Clockwork trotted closed to Big Mac, "But
yes, I am from Canterlot. The Princess sent me to make sure everything was
coming along well for the celebration." She glanced around the farm, "I guess
Appleflutter is off taking care of some business?"
Big Mac nodded his head "eyup, had a bit of trouble with the cargo lines, she'll be back soon." Tugging on Clockwork's mane he lead her toward a pickinic table, "Now you must be famished, stay, eat, meet the family."
Clockwork was pulled swiftly over to a large group of pegasi. She tried to break
free but the large pegasus was far to strong. "As much as I would love to stay
and chat I really must be going. I need to keep on schedule."
[rolling to see if she can convince the family to let her leave without eating.

"Well I suppose if ya'all have to leave."
A filly pegasi flies over, her eyes large and pleading, "Do you really hav'ta go? Can't even stay for lunch."
Apple Bloom has a power of 10 Cuteness, to refuse her Clockwork will need to beat 10 on a heart check

Clockwork looked into the eyes of the small pegasus. She tried to resist but was
unable to. "I... guess I could stay to meet some of the family."
She looked away from the pony, "But that's it, I'll have to go right away." as
she said this she glanced back into the eyes of the pegasus. "...maybe I can
stay for some food as well."
[No one can resit Apple bloom!]
Big Mac smiled "Soup's on, everypony!" ringing a bell and pegasi flew in from every direction around the table and he began to rattle of their names "Now, why don't I introduce y'all to the Apple family? This here's Apple Fritter, Apple Bumpkin, Red Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Caramel Apple, Apple Strudel, Apple Tart, Baked Apple, Apple Brioche, Apple Cinnamon Crisp... [gasp] Apple Bloom you just met, aaaand Granny Smith. Up and at 'em Granny Smith, we got guests."
Granny Smith: [snore] Wha--? Soup's on, I'm ah, here I come, ah comin'...
Big Mac smiled: "I'd say yer already part of the family now Clockwork Sparkle" as he shoves a apple into her mouth!
Clockwork gave a sheepish smile as she chewed the apple. "MMMmmm"
[How long will Clockwork be at the family reunion?]
[Long enoughto be stuffed to bursting with Sweet Apple Acres Produce]
No sooner had Clockwork Finished the apple that each of the extended family piled their namesake dish before her, there were Apple Fritters, Red Delicious apples, Golden Delicious, Caramel Apples, Apple Strudel, Apple Tart, Baked Apples, Apple Brioche, Apple Cinnamon Crisp... aaaand Granny Smiths just to name a few. Before Clockwork knew it she could barly move, her stomach disgournged and bloated from the glut of apple products as Big Mac helped her to her hooves with a sheepish grin
"ah think you ate too much Ms. Sparkle."
[ I'm so sorry, guys! I've been busy, busy, busy! Things are finally slowing down because we're getting close to Thanksgiving, so I finally have time to jump back in. I'm really sorry. I wouldn't have joined if I'd known college would eat up my time like this. ]
Just then, Apple Flutter arrived, and alighted next to Big Mac and Clockwork Sparkle. "Ah'm mighty sorry y'keep missin' me, Miss Sparkle. Ah trust Big Mac n' the rest o' the family took good care of ya?"
Clockwork groaned, her stuffed belly about to burst. "Yes, they've been most...
sociable." she sluggishly made her way closer to the yellow pegasus, "I was just
stopping bye to see that everything was going smoothly for the celebration. I
can see," she groaned again, "and feel that everything will be fine."
She slowly pulled out her checklist. With this checked off there was only one
more place to visit before she could get to the library and study. "Say," she
turned her head back to Appleflutter," would you be able to show me the way to
Sugarcube Corner? I have to meet another pegasus. I think her name was...
Surprise?"
Clockwork watched as the apple family enjoyed the rest of the festivities. Now
would the the best and only time to escape. She crouched down and made her way
off the farm.
"Well that was an experience." she talked to herself, "My only hope now if that
I can find this 'Sugarcube Corner when I get back into Ponyville."
It wasn't long before Clockwork reached Sugar Cube corner, where she found a white pegasus with a blond mane sprawled out onthe dirt, clearly suffering from the crash of a recent sugar high
Surprise is on the ground, drained of any energy. Her normally poofy hair was
now straight, and she struggled to stand up.
"Must. Get. To. Sugarcube. Corner. Eat. Cupcakes. Get a hold of yourself,
Surprise! Just think of the delicious, frosting-laden, moist, juicy, spicy,
sweet, crunchy, CUPCAKES!"
She jumped up at the thoughts of more sugary goodness, and ran directly forward
to what she thought was Sugarcube Corner, wings flapping in excitement but not
pulling into the air. She didn't notice that she was charging straight towards a
once again surprised unicorn.
Clockwork watched silently. She had recognized the very peculiar looking pegasus
as Surprise, the pony from Sugarcube Corner. Something must have happened to her
though, Clockwork thought to herself, she was so full of energy before.
She approached very slowly, sure that something bad was going to happen to her.
As she trotted towards Surprise she heard the pegasus talking to herself. "Okay,
she must be fine" she said out-loud to herself. She finally felt safe enough
that she unguarded herself, "Hello... Surprise I think it is?"
Though as soon as she said this, the pegasus wired up and shot straight towards
her, "Oh no! No no no no no!" [d20: 1 Crit fail that's no good]
Surprise rammed herself into Clockwork, and the tumbled over each other for a
good ten feet before coming to a stop, Surprise wondering why she's on the
ground again.
"Owie powie! What was that? Oh! It's you, the new pony the surprise party is
for! Wait, no, there's no party held in your honor, new pony! None at
AAAALLLLLL!" Surprise shifts her eyes suspiciously back and forth before taking
to the skies, hovering just above Clockwork. "Are you alright? I can carry you
to Sugarcube Corner if you need a ride."
Surprise thinks for a moment before coming up with a brilliant idea. "THAT'S IT!
I'll CARRY you to Sugarcube Corner! That way it won't take forever waiting for
you to arrive!" Without waiting for Clockwork to make a move, Surprise starts to
pick her up. ((D20: 13 + Body 2 = 15. Not sure if my Job bonus [Party Planning]
or Talent [Tireless] would help, would it?))
(i think it would, lets go with it)
((Alrighty, going with a success then.))
Surprise grunts and picks Twilight up before she could respond, and starts to
fly towards Sugarcube Corner, trying to fly through as many clouds as possible
on the way, and doing one or two loops as well.
"NO NO!" Clockwork yelled, "I know I needed to get to Sugarcube Corner... but
not like this! Why does everypony have to put me in danger!"
Though she yelled, Clockwork had become ridged and motionless. The only
extremities moving where her legs as they wiggled in the wind.
Surprise spun around in a corkscrew, cheering herself on by yelling "DO A BARREL
ROLL!"
"Aw, don't be a sadie-wadie-madie pants! We're almost there, see? And once we're
there, then there will be lots and lots of ponies there to be your friends and
we'll all eat cake and cupcakes and pies and cupcakes and muffins and CUPCAKES
WITH HOT SAUCE," Surprise kept rambling on about what kinds of food would be
there, adding in a couple that probably don't even exist in normal bakeries.
Sugarcube Corner was in very suddenly in sight, so Surprise sped up to see the
sheer amount of ponies gathering for the party.
Much like Surprise herself, Sugarcube Corner seemed to defy the laws if physics, as the entire population of Ponyville was somehow comforablly slipped into the confines of it's four walls.
No sooner had the duo entered then a rose pink pony with a flower in her hair reared up on her hooves to exclaim
Rose: The horror, the horror.
Before fainting, a duo of other ponies using fans to try and revive the colapsed pony. As a second groused
"There out of cupcakes!" nearly fainting herself.
Surprise stopped at her tracks, staring at the terror-stricken ponies. "OUT...of
CUPCAKES?" She asked in a frightful tone. Darkness seemed to gather at her as
rage built up inside of her, almost bursting from the inside.
Suddenly she perked up with a big smile on her face. "Well then, it's a good
thing I brought MORE!"
She stood on her hind legs, and held a basket full of cupcakes. Surprise started
handing them out before taking one for herself, munching away with great joy.
She turned to the flabbergasted Clockwork and gave her a big smile. "So, I
don't think we're been introduced yet! I'm Surprise: the most prepared party
pony in Ponyville! Who are you? OH WAIT, you have to meet all of our guests,
first!"
She starts grabbing random ponies from the party and introducing them to
Clockwork faster than Clockwork can even retain the information give to her.
Clockwork's mind was nearly fried. The entire day had caused her more stress
than anything she'd experienced before. She quickly shoved her hoof into
Surprises' mouth stopping her voice immediately. "Look, I would really LOOOVE to
meet everyone. But first I need to get myself a drink."
Clockwork looked Surprise right in the eyes and kept locked as she walk
backwards away from the hyperactive pegasus.
Surprise kept her smile and eyes locked onto Clockwork as she backed away
towards the food and drink. "Okie-dokey-pokey-mokey-lokey! Just as long as you
get to make lots and lots of friends!"
She kept her smile up towards Clockwork, and then lost interest and began to
search for Dragonshy to see how she was enjoying the party.
Rainbow Flash appears in a flash of technicolor light beside Clockwork at the refreshment table. "Hey! You made it! And here I was starting to wonder if I should go looking for you," she says with a cheeky grin. Her horn shimmers as she helps herself to some punch. "So I guess you found Surprise, huh? Or I guess it's more like she found you, probably. She does that. But you're here now so just hang out with me and you'll have tons of new friends in no time 'cuz I'm that awesome."

Suprise spots Dragonshy wiping Spike's chin with a napkin. Spike is not amused.
[When I decided to get the other players back in the game, that's when.]
Surprise giggled at Spike's futile resistance. "Heya, Dragonshy! I hope this
party isn't too overwhelming for you like the party I threw for Spike's
birthday. Speaking of which, how's the dragon day-care going?"
Surprise drank a sarsaparilla in one gulp, and offered one to Spike and
Dragonshy.
"Vbvdfptpthn already!" exclaims Spike as Surprise's greeting distracts Dragonshy long enough for him to catch the floating napkin.
"Oh, no, this party is nice." Dragonshy replies.
When given sarsaparilla, Dragonshy sips on her drink, while Spike downs his in big gulps, gets some on his chin and wipes it away with a hand before Dragonshy can react.
[According to Wikipedia, sarsaparilla is a soft drink. I'll assume it's not something weird tasting that only few people like.]
[Sarsaparilla is the predecessor of root beer. It has a slightly different taste, but if you like root beer, you'll probably like sarsaparilla.]

"Isn't that sarsaparilla great?!" Surprise exclaimed, downing yet another drink
before continuing, "I made that on my own! I even put in a little hot sauce to
give it that extra kick! Isn't it delicious?!"
Surprise hands Spike another before taking one herself.
"Yes, please!" Spike starts to work on the next drink straight away.
"Slow down, Spike. You don't want to get a tummy ache."
"But Surprise has had three drinks already!"
"ಠ_ಠ"
Surprise giggled, "I can drink more than just three, I could probably drink an
entire TUB full of sarsaparilla!" *GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP!* "I SHOULD TOTALLY DO
THAT! Come on, Spike, we're gonna fill a tub with a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of
sarsaparilla!"
Surprise grabbed Spike and started to fly towards the nearest tub.
Dragonshy is taken by surprise by Spike being taken by Surprise, and surprise too.
[And me too.]
[What? Were you expecting Surprise to be PREDICTABLE?
This is the pegasus version of Pinkie Pie we're talking about here!]
[It's like, I dunno, like there's a dead body in a room, and you know it, but you still get nauseous when you go in and see it.
Anyway, take it away. Spike doesn't struggle and Dragonshy will catch up eventually. Your antics will quickly attract the attention of the entire room. GM may want to join in on the fun.]

Clockwork turned in surprise as the unicorn teleported next to her. She sighed,
"Oh... hi, Rainbow." She forced a smile. The day really had been quite
stressful. "I'm probably not going to stay that much longer. I still have some
calibrations to my gliding machine and a bit of studying to do before the
celebration. I don't have time to make any new friends."
"Oh c'mon! It's the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration! Everypony staying up and parties so we can watch the Princess! Loosen up a bit. Don't be such an egghead, Clockwork. Besides, what've you got to study for anyway? We're on a break so let's have some fun!"
Clockwork replied to Rainbow's comment, "Augh! I have to find out more about-"
she stopped herself knowing it was to no use. "...fine." and she reluctantly
remained at the party.

The party continues long into the night, Surprise keeping everyone energized so they can witness Luna raisingthe sun for the Summer Sun Celebration. As the hour aproaches every pony moves to City Hall where the celebration will be held.
Mayor: Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration.
The crowd cheers
Mayor: In just a few moments our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year. And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria--
Mayor: Princess Luna!
As the curtain part Luna steps into view, her head turned away a bit shyly, some ponies with good perception might notice a light blush to her cheeks.
Luna: My little ponies...
Then the building exploded...
Or more precisly the roof. Descending wreathed in flame was a pony white as snow, clad in armor not to dissimilar to the royal guards but she dwarfed them in size, and she had wings and a horn.
???: Greeting my little ponies, i hope you enjoyed your last night, because it will be the last night Equestira ever sees. The day will last forever.

After much deliberation, I've decided that Dragonshy shall not be utterly helpless or paralysed by fear. That time in the elite unicorn school and around Rainbow Flash has got to account for something.]
Dragonshy tries to telekinetically stop any falling debris in her vicinity, if any.

[Both seem valid, AND Telekinisis is the basic unicorn power but Daymare Sun litterly blew the roof off the building, though if you want i think "saving every pony from colapsing roof" would count for a Element Check roll, let's see.
Base 13, And let's see, adding in your friends Rainbow, clockwork, spike, Surprise and Rarity (since you all seemed to know each other ifi remberign early rp longs right) I think it's safe to say Dragon shy has a Twilight moment. Add courange if you like and do something spectacular)
Rainbow's no slouch when it comes to protecting her friends. Firing up a forcefield spell, a shimering, translucent technicolor domed ceiling above all the ponies to catch/deflect anything Dragonshy can't handle.

[I'm sorry to break the flow, but... and rules talk is to be had between sessions, but a play-by-email campaign is an unbroken continuum, so... also, this seems like a "screw rules, role play" group, so I'm double sorry if, uh. But I'd rather have this talk early in the campaign so that everyone's on the same page thereafter. According to the rules:
1. It's harmony check, not element check.
2. The player decides when to spend it.
3. Courage (and harmony) must be spent before the die is rolled. Or did GM mean something else by "Base 13"?
4. In the unicorn race description, the rules seem to imply telekinesis uses body for primary attribute, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.
Meanwhile, the show must go on. 13 + 5 friends + 1 body = 19]
The falling debris flows around the crowd of ponies like water and lands near walls or crashes through the windows.
(All that is correct, but since were not in the same room synronizing die rolleds is hard, all i said really was "this seems perfect for a harmony check if you want) then i rolled a single d20, got a 13, and let you add your modifiers to that. That is the base 13, the singe d20 that is required for ANY roll in the system)

As the roof came crumbling down Dragonshy's horn flared brightly, a determined look on her face as much of the debris was flung aside. Rainbow's shield protected everypony else as the place came crashing down around them, the sun cresting the hills as the dust settled.
Luna: Everypony run! Get away!
the White alicron sneered as several royal guards charged at her. With a blinding flash of light and heat their chared remains dropped to the ground.
Luna gasped: You MONSTER! You killed them!
???: Anypony else want to be a hero?
She paused a moment, casting a glance at Dragonshy and Rainbow Flash
???: Impressive magic, you two might be worth keeping around. Make the smart choose and side with your One True Ruler, QUEEN Celestia. And you can take what ever you want. Choose poorly and burn where you stand.Â
Having witnessed the way in which this white alicorn so casually killed those guards, Rainbow has no intention of siding with somepony so ruthless. Her eyes narrow, horn wreathed in shimmering rainbow light as she maintains the shield. "I'd never side with the likes of you!" she declares defiantly.

Cheerilee: Celestia was a kind and benevolent ruler who gave her life to protect her sister from Nightmare Moon. Your just a bully, a tyrant, and a murderer!
The flash of rage in Celestia's eyes was easy to decipher, if somepony did not act fact Cheerilee would be burned where she stood and unlike the royal guards she didn't have armor to blunt the force of the attack.
She sees the look in Celestia's eyes and looks around the room at all the scared and helpless ponies. Rainbow drops concentration on her shield spell and instead summons up her deepest reserves of courage and determination to cast the biggest teleportation spell she's ever done (on purpose at least) to send as many of the ponies there outside to safety at once. [conveniently lacking the power to get everypony and leaving just our heroes behind I suppose]
[definitely gonna make this my harmony check (+5). also mind (+3), courage (and I'm gonna call Special Purpose--Be Awesome!--on this) (+3), Talent (willful) (+2), my job is apparently listed as "wizard" and I have no idea if that counts for anything (+1 if it does), because I'm calling Special Purpose on this I apparently also get another +2, and finally if the roll totals <=20 then spend a point of energy (+1) so that'll be a d20+15 (+16 if being a wizard counts) with an extra +1 if I don't beat a 20 on this.
I see our GM's got a dicebot thing going for us now. so should I defer to the dicebot to roll?]

so, GM, does "wizard" count for the job bonus on this? I honestly have no clue what Rainbow would be doing for that job anyway, i.e. what kinds of things it would apply to in general.
Also, I seem to be getting emails from the dicebot with any email I send, yelling at me for not including stuff telling it to roll dice. That's gonna get really annoying really fast.]
[Okay, got a 9. So that's a total of 24 or 25 depending on if my job counts for a bonus or not (pending GM's ruling). If it doesn't then I'm gonna spend that energy to make it a 25 and hope the base difficulty for this is only a special pony and not legendary >.>;]

With a brilliant flash of rainbow light every pony is teleported out of City hall and deposited in random locations in the surrounding area. However the stunt leaves Rainbow Flash winded and exhausted for a few minutes as she recoops her lost energies.
Queen Celestia turns her glare toward the rainbow maned unicorn.
Rainbow Flash collapses onto her knees, panting and sweating from the exertion, her horn barely managing a rainbow spark now as she lifts her gaze to meet the white alicorn and flashing her a defiant smirk, knowing her fate is pretty much sealed at this point.
[now this is what I'm talking about: if Flash isn't trying something on this scale nearly all the time (perhaps not always with such high stakes) then I'm doing something wrong.]

Rarity remains fixed to her spot by Princess Luna knowing that there is nothing
an Earth Pony like her could do to try and stop the Alicorn that suddenly
appeared and that Princess Luna would be her best bet at survival.
Dragonshy puts any chunks roof tiles or beams still in her grasp between her (and anypony else nearby (Flash? Clockwork?)) and Celestia.
Or if they're too small to hide under, chucks them at Celestia and runs for cover. [Not trying to be effectual, so no attack roll.]
[ not sure about anypony else, but Rainbow Flash woulda been front-row center for this and that's where she'd still be; out in the open.. completely defenseless...

[I'm expecting Flash, Dragonshy, and Clockwork to be standing next to each other. Surprise and Appleflutter too, but as pegasi they also have the airborne option and could have scattered to the sides when the roof came down. They could escape through a window to the outside, fly to the top of the building and then drop roof tiles or themselves on Celetia. Surprise and Clockwork might also have the hammerspace option. Where you guys at?]
Dragonshy's Makeshift debris shield will help blunt the solar blast of Celestia so don't worry you have some protection Flash.
At this current time slice Luna and Celestia are pretty much face off, Luna has her back to you, keeping a close watch on Celestia, ready to intervene at the right moment, she is tense but prepared. Celestia looks ready to unleash her solar blast on our remaining six.
The Rainbow Flash is front and center, ahead of Dragonshy but the debris shield is ahead of her.
Rarity has stated shes hanging back, also delaying her action as she's not sure what she can do.
Luna: Clockwork Sparkle get everypony out of here! What are you doing? RUN!
Queen Celestia: No one is running, they have chosen their fate. Those who oppose the Solar Republic will burn.
[Sorry everyone for the reeeeeeaaaaaaallly long delay. I got stuck with a few
major seminars I had to attend for some case studies. But now I'm back and can
do some more regular posting... that is if people are still around.]
Clockwork, who had previously been shocked by the whole ordeal, began piecing
together what was happening before her. She had figured it all out, or at least
some of it. Upon hearing Luna's cry she yelled out to the other ponies. "Come!
Follow me! There's nothing we can do right now, but I think I may know where we
can find help!"
She looked back at Luna, hoping to see a reassuring glance or anything that
might show she wouldn't be leaving her teacher to die.
[ No worries! Life happens. Glad to have you back with us now though
]
Rainbow manages to rise to her hooves, albeit shakily. "But we can't just leave the Prin-" she starts to protest but still feeling faint from casting such a huge spell (on purpose), she realizes she has to fall back. She makes a break for the door, following Clockwork, sharing her worried glance back toward the Princess. "Come on, Clockwork" she says reassuringly, "the Princess can handle herself. You're right, we have to get out of here."
[Hold it! Surprise and Appleflutter haven't moved (or declared inaction) yet. [Also, I thought our plan was to wait for Celestia to attack us and give Luna a clear shot. Also, four of us have unspent harmony - we can give Luna a big boost on her next action.]]
[ Well, then at the very least, Rainbow and Clockwork have retreated to the doorway.

[ to be clear: my intent wasn't that Flash was purposefully leaving us out of the teleport--just that she didn't have the power to get everypony at once and we, being the protagonists, just happen to be the ones that the capricious whims of magical fate decided would be left behind. But by all means, if'n y'all can make that into a plan, go for it! I just wouldn't expect Flash to be able to do a whole lot until she's had a chance to rest. ..not that that should stop her from trying. ]

Luna had seen enough, she was sure of it now, and if she was sure of it she knew Celestia was.
Finnally taking action her horn glowed fiercly, "If you want to stop Daymare Sun you need to retrieve the Elements of Harmony!"
And in a flash the team were transported out of the battle zone landing smack dab at the entrance to the dreaded Everfree Forest. They did not have much time to react however as there was a explosion from behind and a light in the sky, Daymare Sun was in hot persuit.

pulled two springs from her bag and attempted to fashion some kind of spring
shoes to help her reach up high to help.

Rarity leafs the group to the place where the Summer Sun Celebration is to take
place.
"Lets see..." Rarity says while examining the interior. "Do you think that you
could hang these banners from the ceiling, Apple Flutter? I just need your help
with the ceiling and tapestries along the upper walls. Everything else I can
either so on my own or will require the assistance of an unicorn." She then
notices that Clockwork is still muttering to herself and seems to be creating
'something'. "What exactly are you doing Clockwork?"
[Leads not leafs dangit! How could I have missed that. Of all things that is
The. Worst. Possible. Thing!]
[yeah the shoes are fine your invention just sort of falls aparts in your hooves]
"Ah'd be happy to, Rarity." Apple Flutter takes the banners and flies up to hang them.
Clockwork looked down at the disaster that was her newest invention, "haha...
nothing." and she swiftly threw the pieces to the side. Putting the failed
attempt to the back of her mind for later she admired and observed
Appleflutter's flying ability. "Quite impressive Appleflutter I must say.
Sometime I'll have to get a closer look at those wings of yours, it could really
help my gliding machine."
She turned back to Rarity, "If your looking for a unicorn I know two I'm
supposed to meet and check on their progress for the celebration. If either of
you two could show me the way to Dragonshy's cottage I'm sure she'd be more than
willing to help." Clockwork thought that it would be Rainbow Flash who would be
most useful, but she wasn't in the mood for another falling disaster like last
time.
[I'm assuming that Rarity has a better relation with Dragonshy than Appleflutter
does.]
"Dragonshy? She lives near the edge of the Everfree forest. I often take my dear
Opalescence to her for her grooming. I will gladly lead the way. After all, any
help will be appreciated."
[Rarity then proceeds to lead the group to Dragonshy's cottage.]
[I'm sure Appleflutter, (i keep thinking apple butter withthat name) knows her well enough to take Winonna for care, that said Rairty is a good choice for leader]
[I tried to think of something original for the past hour or so, but failed. Oh, well.]
An extraordinary amount of birdsong can be heard coming from the direction of Dragonshy's house. For a moment it resolves into a coherent melody resembling the Equestrian anthem before dying off. As you round the last bend you see Dragonshy covered in birds in front of a small tree with more birds in it. She seems to be rearranging them and doesn't notice your approach.
[I wrote it like that because I'm not sure who's coming.]
Clockwork followed behind Rarity to Dragonshy's. As they approached she could
hear the sound of the birds singing the national anthem. It sounded quite good.
She smiled, glad she could check off the music for the celebration. As they got
a bit closer she called out,
"Hello. Dragonshy."
Dragonshy turns to face the comers, a blue jay still on her hoof, "Hello, Clockwork. Hello, Rarity." She smiles.
[Rise and shine Clockwork, let's not strech this out for another week when we're so close to Celebration]
Clockwork trotted towards Dragonshy, "I must say, the music is sounding
wonderful. I'm sure it will be perfect by the celebration."
She looked back towards the two other ponies. "I was just at Rarity's and she
was hoping we could have the assistance of a unicorn in the decor. That is, if
your not to busy here."
[The two other ponies? Appleflutter came too? By the way, how does earth pony Rarity get *anything* done? How does she thread a needle?]
"Did somepony get hurt?"
[Does the GM have a preference whether Dragonshy comes along? I'm inclined to send Spike with a ladder instead.]
[No their no reason Dragonshy HAS to come, but it would be the kind thing to do since Rarity requested the help of a unicorn]
[ She was shown using a sewing machine in suited for success with her hooves.]
[Presumably, she still needed telekinesis to set it up - to put in the spool, lay the thread through the mechanism, and thread the needle.]
[ I'm tempted to chime in with "a wizard did it" or something like that but then I remembered that it's actual /lack/ of that going on that's the problem XD ]
[I'm tempted to ask why we need real world physics and explanations to allow a
/talking/ pony be able to sew. Hay, ponies are able to hold things with their
hooves! I'll just say that she has a lot if practice. While we are discussing
mostly pointless things, how are we even speaking English when equines lack the
necessary vocal cords to do so? And yes it is English otherwise how could we
understand the characters on the show this is based on.]
[[ And I'm going to point out how incredibly easy it is to run thread through a machine. Why, I could almost run thread through my sewing machine in my sleep at this point. I'm sure Rarity can use her teeth to run the thread through, and most sewing machines by this point probably thread themselves. I know mine does, and Rarity's machine looks an awful lot like a standard sewing machine. ]]

"Did somepony get hurt?"
"No, nothing like that. I should probably let Rarity explain what she needs." And with that Clockwork looked over to Rarity.
Rarity turns to Dragonshy to explain. "Well Dragonshy, some of the decorations
that I have planned need to be magically enhanced to fit my vision. Mostly I
need a unicorn to create some colors and add some shimmers and sparkles."
"I'm sorry - I can't do that kind of magic. But Rainbow Flash can - you could ask her."
Meanwhile, high in the sky, Surprise has an idea.
She starts gathering clouds into a singular, ginormously huge cloud and brings
it to ground near Carousel Boutique. Then, she starts making the cloud wider and
thinner and wider and thinner until it's just a small yet firm film of water
vapor.
Experimentally, she tests the hold of the cloud by pushing her weight onto the
layer of cloud. To her joy, it holds well, and has the right amount of bounce
she needed.
She congratulates herself on making such an spectacularly spectacular spectacle
such as a cloud trampoline that was as wide as the Boutique it was anchored next
to by jumping up and down on it, making interesting moves with her wings while
in midair, so absorbed in her jumping that she starts to lose interest in
everything else around her.
"Great, I thought so." Clockwork knew Rainbow would be the better choice for the
job. Hopefully she won't try to go overboard this time. "Then we'll leave you be
Dragonshy, the music is sounding good. Is Rainbow's near by Rarity?"
As if on cue, the rainbow-maned unicorn appears in a technicolor flash... a few feet off the ground and galloping in mid-air as she goes flying right into Dragonshy's tree, scaring off the birds and slumping to the ground. Mane and tail a bit frazzled and only slightly singed, she picks herself up, a little dizzy from the crash but she shakes it off and puts on a grin as she notices everypony, "Oh hey. Heh. I was just practicing for a new trick but I guess it needs some more work," she says with a forced laugh.
Dragonshy would fly off with the birds if she could. With that option barred, she ducks for cover behind Clockwork.
[Good job keeping up the pacing! I wouldn't have thought of that.]
Rarity turns to face Rainbow Flash "Ah, just the pony I wanted to see. I could
really use your help with altering some of the fabrics I have back at my
Boutique so that they could be used to finish the decorations for the Summer Sun
Celebration."
Rainbow glances over to Rarity, cringing a bit, "Altering fabric? Ugh.." she rolls her eyes with a sigh, "I guess as long as I don't have to actually wear any of it. Won't take long will it? I wanted to get in some more practice before it gets dark."
Clockwork gave herself a second for her heart to slow. She looked over to Rarity in surprise. She acted as this was normal around town.
After calming a bit she decided she would follow them just so she could check on Rainbow's progress. She pushed her nose through her book bag looking for her celebration check list. [I forgot, what was Rainbow covering for the celebration?]
["Entertainment" apparently]
"Let's see... music, check. Decor, check." She paused for a second,
"Entertainment. So how is the performance coming along Rainbow? Are you planning
on doing an illusion or a levitation, maybe..." she began to ramble about the
different possibilities of a wonderful show.
Meanwhile, Dragonshy picks herself up and listens in to the conversation. The birds will come back in a few minutes.
[Just bookkeeping.]
"Planning? Yeah I got a few ideas about what to do; little lightshow, maybe put up a few mirrors and lenses." Rainbow Flash shrugs a bit as she trots along with the others back toward Rarity's, "I'll have it figured out by tonight. Don't worry; whatever it is, I'll have it thrown together in a flash," she says with a cheeky grin.
"Well that's reassuring, but you have to have something to actually show me.
Let's just stay away from teleporting, why don't we."
Rainbow thinks for a moment then grins. [rolling for a magic light show (create illusion): 1d20 (16) +3 (mind) +2 (skill: light show) = 21 I'll go ahead and assume that's good enough for this] Her horn shimmers brightly with a technicolor halo then several rays of white light radiate out from her horn in a starburst pattern. The rays spiral around and focus down at her hooves then fan out into a rainbow that streaks off ahead of her in a path all the way up to Rarity's front door.
"How's 'rolling out the rainbow carpet' for starters?"
Clockwork stood, mouth open in surprise. She had yet to actually see Rainbow
perform anything quite so well. Though before she could think of anything to say
she could hear a noise above their heads.
As she looked up she could see a massively flat cloud above the boutique. She
could hear a pony giggling up on it. "What is that?"
Surprise keeps bouncing on the cloud, unaware that it's starting to break under
pressure from her constant bouncing. Eventually, the cloud breaks and Surprise,
who expected the soft feel of the cloud to support her, started to feel her tail
twitching. This put every other aspect out of her mind except looking for
something to fall on her, screaming "Twitchy Tail! Twitchy Tail!"
Occupied with her Surprise Sense, she didn't stop herself from falling on top of
another startled pony beneath her. She immediately recovered her self and
inspected the pony she landed on.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry, I had a Twitchy Tail and I didn't stop myself in time
because my tail was twitchy and I was looking for something to fall on me but I
didn't think I would be the one falling on somepony and OH MY GOODNESS I HAVEN'T
SEEN YOU IN PONYVILLE BEFORE AND SINCE YOU'RE NEW YOU GOTTA HAVE A WELCOME PARTY
SO I'M GONNA GO INVITE EVERYPONY TO YOUR PARTY OTHERWISE IT WOULDN'T BE AS FUN
BUT EVERYPONY LOVES MY SURPRISE SPREES I'M GOING TO GO SET UP THE PARTY AT
SUGARCUBE CORNER OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!!"
Throughout the entire encounter, Surprise started flying circles around the
confused pony at unnatural speeds and hadn't taken so much as a single breath
before flying off to Celestia-knows-where.
[ 1d20 (16) +3 (mind) = 19 for a simple 5-foot teleport out of the way of falling pegasus. This one's all yours, Clockwork!

Clockwork's head was ringing after being crushed by a falling pony. As she
started to come back to she heard the rambling of a high pitch voice far above
her head. It was coming from an energetic pegasus. Before she could get a word
in edgewise the pony flew off with Clockwork left dumbfounded.
"Who, or what was that?"
Rainbow trots over to help Clockwork up, "That's Surprise," she says with a dry chuckle, "You get used to-" she starts snickering, "Nope; can't keep a straight face. Nopony ever gets used to Surprise. Surprise is... Surprise."
"Don't worry, we'll be seeing her again real soon," she adds with a bit of a sigh and an eyeroll.
[Guess that it's my turn.] Rarity beckons for the others to enter her boutique
to allow Clockwork Sparkle to recover and see if Rainbow Flash could properly
alter the fabrics.
Clockwork was able to pull herself together and as she watched the two ponies
trot into the boutique she made a startling realization. She looked down at her
celebration checklist, "Wait, Surprise?! She's the pony in charge of the food
for the celebration[I think]." She quickly followed the two into the shop, "Do
either of you know where she could have gone to? I still need to check her off
as well as make sure Appleflutter is going ahead as planned."
She started trotting back and forth, "Oooohh, I'm going to be late. This is not
good."
"Surprise?" Rainbow laughs, "Oh, she's got a knack for showing up just about anywhere at any time," she looks around a bit paranoid-like as she says that, "but since you're new in Ponyville and she just met you, I'd wager you could find her at Sugarcube Corner. I mean, she lives there afterall but- well," the technicolor pony smirks, "Nevermind; I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise."
"If you wanna get over there in a hurry I can help with that..." her horn begins to shimmer with a rainbow cascade.
[Hmm, I wonder how much of the forth wall Surprise is allowed to break. Perhaps
an off comment about the players, or something? Anyways, I'm not sure if I would
have to roll to set up a party, now would I? I know I could roll to see if
Surprise is successful at...well...surprising the guest of honor at the party.
I don't remember where I was going with this...BACK TO THE STORY!]
"Oh, well." Clockwork inched back bit by bit away to avoid being caught in
Rainbow's potential teleportation. "I think I'll go check on Appleflutter
first... and I'm sure Rarity could still use your help." Before Clockwork could
even give the rainbow pony to respond she rushed out the door and trotted off
towards the farm to find Appleflutter again.
[Meanwhile, I thought Flash was new in town too. Also, it's morning with plenty of time till ~3 AM next morning when the ceremony is to take place, right?]
[ Flash's hometown is Ponyville -- just double-checked and GM/Luna established that back on 9/30 ]
[ And just 'cuz there's plenty of time doesn't mean clockwork can't get antsy/OCD-y about it. I know I get OCD-ish about getting certain things done early and mild anxiety even sets in when it looks like I might even be just 5 minutes late for something. ]
[I'm not second guessing Clockwork's behavior. I'm just making sure I didn't miss an email saying that time has passed.]
[ Oh, well fair enough then. Though given what we've gone though I'd probably put the time around noon~ish. But then I have a wonky sense as far as the passage of time goes so... *shrug* ]
Rainbow's horn stops shimmering as Clockwork leaves. The technicolor pony turns to Rarity, "Uh.. so... you needed help with ugh..." she sighs, "fabric?"
"Yes I do Rainbow Flash. I need some of this fabric changed to a different color
and this fabric needs to have sparkles and shimmers added." [I almost can't wait
for the reveal of the decor, which reminds me that I should write that down
somewhere.]
Flash follows Rarity around the shop, picking up fabric with her telekinesis as Rarity shows it to her and casting minor spells to change the colors or make things sparkle as the dressmaker pony directs her.
[ create illusion should cover color changes and shiny-making. It's not like there's any kind of stress or hurry to this and it should be fairly simple to do so I won't bother making any checks unless the GM wants me to ]
"How much of this dumb fabric do you need my help with? I'm not gonna be here all afternoon am I?"
[Where the hay is appleflutter? Is she still with us or what?] "That should be
enough to finish what I have planned. You could go now if you wish. I just need
to head over to the location and apply this fabric." [If appleflutter or
surprise would happen to be there that would be helpful, or at least not raise
questions as to how the fabric got up there.]
[[ Sorry! I still exist, I swear! I've been trying to juggle a speech I'm supposed to write and... y'know... give... Um, heh. Along with a huge 15-page project that I have to write, endless creativity for the novel I'm writing, and a bunch of other things. Certain things get dropped, and sadly this had to be one of them for a while. I'll try to jump back in smoothly when I have time, but right now it's 3 AM, and I need to be asleep two hours ago. ]]

Clockwork is going off on her own until she runs into surprise but Rarity and
Rainbow are together right now but that could change soon. Last I knew you were
still following along with Rarity, Rainbow are Clockwork.]

[Until we figure out where everyone else is lets try and keep things moving
along. Would the DM be willing to be one of the apple family so Clockwork could
just check off Appleflutter's duties and Apple can join in whenever she can?]
As Clockwork aporaches the Apple Farm a massive Pegasi touches down, "Yer that new fillie from Canterlot Clockwork Orange? Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres, Ya'll can call me Big Macitosh"
"Actually, it's Clockwork SPARKLE." Clockwork trotted closed to Big Mac, "But
yes, I am from Canterlot. The Princess sent me to make sure everything was
coming along well for the celebration." She glanced around the farm, "I guess
Appleflutter is off taking care of some business?"
Big Mac nodded his head "eyup, had a bit of trouble with the cargo lines, she'll be back soon." Tugging on Clockwork's mane he lead her toward a pickinic table, "Now you must be famished, stay, eat, meet the family."
Clockwork was pulled swiftly over to a large group of pegasi. She tried to break
free but the large pegasus was far to strong. "As much as I would love to stay
and chat I really must be going. I need to keep on schedule."
[rolling to see if she can convince the family to let her leave without eating.

A filly pegasi flies over, her eyes large and pleading, "Do you really hav'ta go? Can't even stay for lunch."
Apple Bloom has a power of 10 Cuteness, to refuse her Clockwork will need to beat 10 on a heart check

Clockwork looked into the eyes of the small pegasus. She tried to resist but was
unable to. "I... guess I could stay to meet some of the family."
She looked away from the pony, "But that's it, I'll have to go right away." as
she said this she glanced back into the eyes of the pegasus. "...maybe I can
stay for some food as well."
[No one can resit Apple bloom!]
Big Mac smiled "Soup's on, everypony!" ringing a bell and pegasi flew in from every direction around the table and he began to rattle of their names "Now, why don't I introduce y'all to the Apple family? This here's Apple Fritter, Apple Bumpkin, Red Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Caramel Apple, Apple Strudel, Apple Tart, Baked Apple, Apple Brioche, Apple Cinnamon Crisp... [gasp] Apple Bloom you just met, aaaand Granny Smith. Up and at 'em Granny Smith, we got guests."
Granny Smith: [snore] Wha--? Soup's on, I'm ah, here I come, ah comin'...
Big Mac smiled: "I'd say yer already part of the family now Clockwork Sparkle" as he shoves a apple into her mouth!
Clockwork gave a sheepish smile as she chewed the apple. "MMMmmm"

No sooner had Clockwork Finished the apple that each of the extended family piled their namesake dish before her, there were Apple Fritters, Red Delicious apples, Golden Delicious, Caramel Apples, Apple Strudel, Apple Tart, Baked Apples, Apple Brioche, Apple Cinnamon Crisp... aaaand Granny Smiths just to name a few. Before Clockwork knew it she could barly move, her stomach disgournged and bloated from the glut of apple products as Big Mac helped her to her hooves with a sheepish grin
"ah think you ate too much Ms. Sparkle."
[ I'm so sorry, guys! I've been busy, busy, busy! Things are finally slowing down because we're getting close to Thanksgiving, so I finally have time to jump back in. I'm really sorry. I wouldn't have joined if I'd known college would eat up my time like this. ]
Just then, Apple Flutter arrived, and alighted next to Big Mac and Clockwork Sparkle. "Ah'm mighty sorry y'keep missin' me, Miss Sparkle. Ah trust Big Mac n' the rest o' the family took good care of ya?"
Clockwork groaned, her stuffed belly about to burst. "Yes, they've been most...
sociable." she sluggishly made her way closer to the yellow pegasus, "I was just
stopping bye to see that everything was going smoothly for the celebration. I
can see," she groaned again, "and feel that everything will be fine."
She slowly pulled out her checklist. With this checked off there was only one
more place to visit before she could get to the library and study. "Say," she
turned her head back to Appleflutter," would you be able to show me the way to
Sugarcube Corner? I have to meet another pegasus. I think her name was...
Surprise?"
Clockwork watched as the apple family enjoyed the rest of the festivities. Now
would the the best and only time to escape. She crouched down and made her way
off the farm.
"Well that was an experience." she talked to herself, "My only hope now if that
I can find this 'Sugarcube Corner when I get back into Ponyville."
It wasn't long before Clockwork reached Sugar Cube corner, where she found a white pegasus with a blond mane sprawled out onthe dirt, clearly suffering from the crash of a recent sugar high
Surprise is on the ground, drained of any energy. Her normally poofy hair was
now straight, and she struggled to stand up.
"Must. Get. To. Sugarcube. Corner. Eat. Cupcakes. Get a hold of yourself,
Surprise! Just think of the delicious, frosting-laden, moist, juicy, spicy,
sweet, crunchy, CUPCAKES!"
She jumped up at the thoughts of more sugary goodness, and ran directly forward
to what she thought was Sugarcube Corner, wings flapping in excitement but not
pulling into the air. She didn't notice that she was charging straight towards a
once again surprised unicorn.
Clockwork watched silently. She had recognized the very peculiar looking pegasus
as Surprise, the pony from Sugarcube Corner. Something must have happened to her
though, Clockwork thought to herself, she was so full of energy before.
She approached very slowly, sure that something bad was going to happen to her.
As she trotted towards Surprise she heard the pegasus talking to herself. "Okay,
she must be fine" she said out-loud to herself. She finally felt safe enough
that she unguarded herself, "Hello... Surprise I think it is?"
Though as soon as she said this, the pegasus wired up and shot straight towards
her, "Oh no! No no no no no!" [d20: 1 Crit fail that's no good]
Surprise rammed herself into Clockwork, and the tumbled over each other for a
good ten feet before coming to a stop, Surprise wondering why she's on the
ground again.
"Owie powie! What was that? Oh! It's you, the new pony the surprise party is
for! Wait, no, there's no party held in your honor, new pony! None at
AAAALLLLLL!" Surprise shifts her eyes suspiciously back and forth before taking
to the skies, hovering just above Clockwork. "Are you alright? I can carry you
to Sugarcube Corner if you need a ride."
Surprise thinks for a moment before coming up with a brilliant idea. "THAT'S IT!
I'll CARRY you to Sugarcube Corner! That way it won't take forever waiting for
you to arrive!" Without waiting for Clockwork to make a move, Surprise starts to
pick her up. ((D20: 13 + Body 2 = 15. Not sure if my Job bonus [Party Planning]
or Talent [Tireless] would help, would it?))

Surprise grunts and picks Twilight up before she could respond, and starts to
fly towards Sugarcube Corner, trying to fly through as many clouds as possible
on the way, and doing one or two loops as well.
"NO NO!" Clockwork yelled, "I know I needed to get to Sugarcube Corner... but
not like this! Why does everypony have to put me in danger!"
Though she yelled, Clockwork had become ridged and motionless. The only
extremities moving where her legs as they wiggled in the wind.
Surprise spun around in a corkscrew, cheering herself on by yelling "DO A BARREL
ROLL!"
"Aw, don't be a sadie-wadie-madie pants! We're almost there, see? And once we're
there, then there will be lots and lots of ponies there to be your friends and
we'll all eat cake and cupcakes and pies and cupcakes and muffins and CUPCAKES
WITH HOT SAUCE," Surprise kept rambling on about what kinds of food would be
there, adding in a couple that probably don't even exist in normal bakeries.
Sugarcube Corner was in very suddenly in sight, so Surprise sped up to see the
sheer amount of ponies gathering for the party.
Much like Surprise herself, Sugarcube Corner seemed to defy the laws if physics, as the entire population of Ponyville was somehow comforablly slipped into the confines of it's four walls.
No sooner had the duo entered then a rose pink pony with a flower in her hair reared up on her hooves to exclaim
Rose: The horror, the horror.
Before fainting, a duo of other ponies using fans to try and revive the colapsed pony. As a second groused
"There out of cupcakes!" nearly fainting herself.
Surprise stopped at her tracks, staring at the terror-stricken ponies. "OUT...of
CUPCAKES?" She asked in a frightful tone. Darkness seemed to gather at her as
rage built up inside of her, almost bursting from the inside.
Suddenly she perked up with a big smile on her face. "Well then, it's a good
thing I brought MORE!"
She stood on her hind legs, and held a basket full of cupcakes. Surprise started
handing them out before taking one for herself, munching away with great joy.
She turned to the flabbergasted Clockwork and gave her a big smile. "So, I
don't think we're been introduced yet! I'm Surprise: the most prepared party
pony in Ponyville! Who are you? OH WAIT, you have to meet all of our guests,
first!"
She starts grabbing random ponies from the party and introducing them to
Clockwork faster than Clockwork can even retain the information give to her.
Clockwork's mind was nearly fried. The entire day had caused her more stress
than anything she'd experienced before. She quickly shoved her hoof into
Surprises' mouth stopping her voice immediately. "Look, I would really LOOOVE to
meet everyone. But first I need to get myself a drink."
Clockwork looked Surprise right in the eyes and kept locked as she walk
backwards away from the hyperactive pegasus.
Surprise kept her smile and eyes locked onto Clockwork as she backed away
towards the food and drink. "Okie-dokey-pokey-mokey-lokey! Just as long as you
get to make lots and lots of friends!"
She kept her smile up towards Clockwork, and then lost interest and began to
search for Dragonshy to see how she was enjoying the party.
Rainbow Flash appears in a flash of technicolor light beside Clockwork at the refreshment table. "Hey! You made it! And here I was starting to wonder if I should go looking for you," she says with a cheeky grin. Her horn shimmers as she helps herself to some punch. "So I guess you found Surprise, huh? Or I guess it's more like she found you, probably. She does that. But you're here now so just hang out with me and you'll have tons of new friends in no time 'cuz I'm that awesome."

Suprise spots Dragonshy wiping Spike's chin with a napkin. Spike is not amused.
[When I decided to get the other players back in the game, that's when.]
Surprise giggled at Spike's futile resistance. "Heya, Dragonshy! I hope this
party isn't too overwhelming for you like the party I threw for Spike's
birthday. Speaking of which, how's the dragon day-care going?"
Surprise drank a sarsaparilla in one gulp, and offered one to Spike and
Dragonshy.
"Vbvdfptpthn already!" exclaims Spike as Surprise's greeting distracts Dragonshy long enough for him to catch the floating napkin.
"Oh, no, this party is nice." Dragonshy replies.
When given sarsaparilla, Dragonshy sips on her drink, while Spike downs his in big gulps, gets some on his chin and wipes it away with a hand before Dragonshy can react.
[According to Wikipedia, sarsaparilla is a soft drink. I'll assume it's not something weird tasting that only few people like.]
[Sarsaparilla is the predecessor of root beer. It has a slightly different taste, but if you like root beer, you'll probably like sarsaparilla.]
[I've never had root beer either.]
"Isn't that sarsaparilla great?!" Surprise exclaimed, downing yet another drink
before continuing, "I made that on my own! I even put in a little hot sauce to
give it that extra kick! Isn't it delicious?!"
Surprise hands Spike another before taking one herself.
"Yes, please!" Spike starts to work on the next drink straight away.
"Slow down, Spike. You don't want to get a tummy ache."
"But Surprise has had three drinks already!"
"ಠ_ಠ"
Surprise giggled, "I can drink more than just three, I could probably drink an
entire TUB full of sarsaparilla!" *GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP!* "I SHOULD TOTALLY DO
THAT! Come on, Spike, we're gonna fill a tub with a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of
sarsaparilla!"
Surprise grabbed Spike and started to fly towards the nearest tub.
Dragonshy is taken by surprise by Spike being taken by Surprise, and surprise too.
[And me too.]
[What? Were you expecting Surprise to be PREDICTABLE?
This is the pegasus version of Pinkie Pie we're talking about here!]
[It's like, I dunno, like there's a dead body in a room, and you know it, but you still get nauseous when you go in and see it.
Anyway, take it away. Spike doesn't struggle and Dragonshy will catch up eventually. Your antics will quickly attract the attention of the entire room. GM may want to join in on the fun.]

Clockwork turned in surprise as the unicorn teleported next to her. She sighed,
"Oh... hi, Rainbow." She forced a smile. The day really had been quite
stressful. "I'm probably not going to stay that much longer. I still have some
calibrations to my gliding machine and a bit of studying to do before the
celebration. I don't have time to make any new friends."
"Oh c'mon! It's the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration! Everypony staying up and parties so we can watch the Princess! Loosen up a bit. Don't be such an egghead, Clockwork. Besides, what've you got to study for anyway? We're on a break so let's have some fun!"
Clockwork replied to Rainbow's comment, "Augh! I have to find out more about-"
she stopped herself knowing it was to no use. "...fine." and she reluctantly
remained at the party.

The party continues long into the night, Surprise keeping everyone energized so they can witness Luna raisingthe sun for the Summer Sun Celebration. As the hour aproaches every pony moves to City Hall where the celebration will be held.
Mayor: Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration.
The crowd cheers
Mayor: In just a few moments our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year. And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria--
Mayor: Princess Luna!
As the curtain part Luna steps into view, her head turned away a bit shyly, some ponies with good perception might notice a light blush to her cheeks.
Luna: My little ponies...
Then the building exploded...
Or more precisly the roof. Descending wreathed in flame was a pony white as snow, clad in armor not to dissimilar to the royal guards but she dwarfed them in size, and she had wings and a horn.
???: Greeting my little ponies, i hope you enjoyed your last night, because it will be the last night Equestira ever sees. The day will last forever.

After much deliberation, I've decided that Dragonshy shall not be utterly helpless or paralysed by fear. That time in the elite unicorn school and around Rainbow Flash has got to account for something.]
Dragonshy tries to telekinetically stop any falling debris in her vicinity, if any.
Spike... faints?
[Both seem valid, AND Telekinisis is the basic unicorn power but Daymare Sun litterly blew the roof off the building, though if you want i think "saving every pony from colapsing roof" would count for a Element Check roll, let's see.
Base 13, And let's see, adding in your friends Rainbow, clockwork, spike, Surprise and Rarity (since you all seemed to know each other ifi remberign early rp longs right) I think it's safe to say Dragon shy has a Twilight moment. Add courange if you like and do something spectacular)
Rainbow's no slouch when it comes to protecting her friends. Firing up a forcefield spell, a shimering, translucent technicolor domed ceiling above all the ponies to catch/deflect anything Dragonshy can't handle.

[I'm sorry to break the flow, but... and rules talk is to be had between sessions, but a play-by-email campaign is an unbroken continuum, so... also, this seems like a "screw rules, role play" group, so I'm double sorry if, uh. But I'd rather have this talk early in the campaign so that everyone's on the same page thereafter. According to the rules:
1. It's harmony check, not element check.
2. The player decides when to spend it.
3. Courage (and harmony) must be spent before the die is rolled. Or did GM mean something else by "Base 13"?
4. In the unicorn race description, the rules seem to imply telekinesis uses body for primary attribute, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.
Meanwhile, the show must go on. 13 + 5 friends + 1 body = 19]
The falling debris flows around the crowd of ponies like water and lands near walls or crashes through the windows.
(All that is correct, but since were not in the same room synronizing die rolleds is hard, all i said really was "this seems perfect for a harmony check if you want) then i rolled a single d20, got a 13, and let you add your modifiers to that. That is the base 13, the singe d20 that is required for ANY roll in the system)

As the roof came crumbling down Dragonshy's horn flared brightly, a determined look on her face as much of the debris was flung aside. Rainbow's shield protected everypony else as the place came crashing down around them, the sun cresting the hills as the dust settled.
Luna: Everypony run! Get away!
the White alicron sneered as several royal guards charged at her. With a blinding flash of light and heat their chared remains dropped to the ground.
Luna gasped: You MONSTER! You killed them!
???: Anypony else want to be a hero?
She paused a moment, casting a glance at Dragonshy and Rainbow Flash
???: Impressive magic, you two might be worth keeping around. Make the smart choose and side with your One True Ruler, QUEEN Celestia. And you can take what ever you want. Choose poorly and burn where you stand.Â
Having witnessed the way in which this white alicorn so casually killed those guards, Rainbow has no intention of siding with somepony so ruthless. Her eyes narrow, horn wreathed in shimmering rainbow light as she maintains the shield. "I'd never side with the likes of you!" she declares defiantly.

Cheerilee: Celestia was a kind and benevolent ruler who gave her life to protect her sister from Nightmare Moon. Your just a bully, a tyrant, and a murderer!
The flash of rage in Celestia's eyes was easy to decipher, if somepony did not act fact Cheerilee would be burned where she stood and unlike the royal guards she didn't have armor to blunt the force of the attack.
She sees the look in Celestia's eyes and looks around the room at all the scared and helpless ponies. Rainbow drops concentration on her shield spell and instead summons up her deepest reserves of courage and determination to cast the biggest teleportation spell she's ever done (on purpose at least) to send as many of the ponies there outside to safety at once. [conveniently lacking the power to get everypony and leaving just our heroes behind I suppose]
[definitely gonna make this my harmony check (+5). also mind (+3), courage (and I'm gonna call Special Purpose--Be Awesome!--on this) (+3), Talent (willful) (+2), my job is apparently listed as "wizard" and I have no idea if that counts for anything (+1 if it does), because I'm calling Special Purpose on this I apparently also get another +2, and finally if the roll totals <=20 then spend a point of energy (+1) so that'll be a d20+15 (+16 if being a wizard counts) with an extra +1 if I don't beat a 20 on this.
I see our GM's got a dicebot thing going for us now. so should I defer to the dicebot to roll?]

so, GM, does "wizard" count for the job bonus on this? I honestly have no clue what Rainbow would be doing for that job anyway, i.e. what kinds of things it would apply to in general.
Also, I seem to be getting emails from the dicebot with any email I send, yelling at me for not including stuff telling it to roll dice. That's gonna get really annoying really fast.]

With a brilliant flash of rainbow light every pony is teleported out of City hall and deposited in random locations in the surrounding area. However the stunt leaves Rainbow Flash winded and exhausted for a few minutes as she recoops her lost energies.
Queen Celestia turns her glare toward the rainbow maned unicorn.
Rainbow Flash collapses onto her knees, panting and sweating from the exertion, her horn barely managing a rainbow spark now as she lifts her gaze to meet the white alicorn and flashing her a defiant smirk, knowing her fate is pretty much sealed at this point.
[now this is what I'm talking about: if Flash isn't trying something on this scale nearly all the time (perhaps not always with such high stakes) then I'm doing something wrong.

Rarity remains fixed to her spot by Princess Luna knowing that there is nothing
an Earth Pony like her could do to try and stop the Alicorn that suddenly
appeared and that Princess Luna would be her best bet at survival.
Dragonshy puts any chunks roof tiles or beams still in her grasp between her (and anypony else nearby (Flash? Clockwork?)) and Celestia.
Or if they're too small to hide under, chucks them at Celestia and runs for cover. [Not trying to be effectual, so no attack roll.]
[ not sure about anypony else, but Rainbow Flash woulda been front-row center for this and that's where she'd still be; out in the open.. completely defenseless...

[I'm expecting Flash, Dragonshy, and Clockwork to be standing next to each other. Surprise and Appleflutter too, but as pegasi they also have the airborne option and could have scattered to the sides when the roof came down. They could escape through a window to the outside, fly to the top of the building and then drop roof tiles or themselves on Celetia. Surprise and Clockwork might also have the hammerspace option. Where you guys at?]
Dragonshy's Makeshift debris shield will help blunt the solar blast of Celestia so don't worry you have some protection Flash.
At this current time slice Luna and Celestia are pretty much face off, Luna has her back to you, keeping a close watch on Celestia, ready to intervene at the right moment, she is tense but prepared. Celestia looks ready to unleash her solar blast on our remaining six.
The Rainbow Flash is front and center, ahead of Dragonshy but the debris shield is ahead of her.
Rarity has stated shes hanging back, also delaying her action as she's not sure what she can do.
Luna: Clockwork Sparkle get everypony out of here! What are you doing? RUN!
Queen Celestia: No one is running, they have chosen their fate. Those who oppose the Solar Republic will burn.
[Sorry everyone for the reeeeeeaaaaaaallly long delay. I got stuck with a few
major seminars I had to attend for some case studies. But now I'm back and can
do some more regular posting... that is if people are still around.]
Clockwork, who had previously been shocked by the whole ordeal, began piecing
together what was happening before her. She had figured it all out, or at least
some of it. Upon hearing Luna's cry she yelled out to the other ponies. "Come!
Follow me! There's nothing we can do right now, but I think I may know where we
can find help!"
She looked back at Luna, hoping to see a reassuring glance or anything that
might show she wouldn't be leaving her teacher to die.
[ No worries! Life happens. Glad to have you back with us now though
]Rainbow manages to rise to her hooves, albeit shakily. "But we can't just leave the Prin-" she starts to protest but still feeling faint from casting such a huge spell (on purpose), she realizes she has to fall back. She makes a break for the door, following Clockwork, sharing her worried glance back toward the Princess. "Come on, Clockwork" she says reassuringly, "the Princess can handle herself. You're right, we have to get out of here."
[Hold it! Surprise and Appleflutter haven't moved (or declared inaction) yet. [Also, I thought our plan was to wait for Celestia to attack us and give Luna a clear shot. Also, four of us have unspent harmony - we can give Luna a big boost on her next action.]]
[ Well, then at the very least, Rainbow and Clockwork have retreated to the doorway.

[From your initial actions I thought we were gonna fight. Why else would you exclude us from the teleport?]

] [ to be clear: my intent wasn't that Flash was purposefully leaving us out of the teleport--just that she didn't have the power to get everypony at once and we, being the protagonists, just happen to be the ones that the capricious whims of magical fate decided would be left behind. But by all means, if'n y'all can make that into a plan, go for it! I just wouldn't expect Flash to be able to do a whole lot until she's had a chance to rest. ..not that that should stop her from trying. ]

Luna had seen enough, she was sure of it now, and if she was sure of it she knew Celestia was.
Finnally taking action her horn glowed fiercly, "If you want to stop Daymare Sun you need to retrieve the Elements of Harmony!"
And in a flash the team were transported out of the battle zone landing smack dab at the entrance to the dreaded Everfree Forest. They did not have much time to react however as there was a explosion from behind and a light in the sky, Daymare Sun was in hot persuit.
